Cut grass yet again this morning. Must have been all the rain this week. This has to be the last cut of the year!

We have to mow the lawn all year here but at least it's starting to take over a week before it needs it again and in the winter it's about once a month.

As you’d guess if you’ve caught my mowing pictures, I fully support non-conventional mowing patterns. :dblthumb2:

It’s usually 5 weeks at the earliest I repeat a pattern. Looks neat as the light shifts when you’ve got layered patterns going, plus it’s good for your yard since you’re not compacting the same tracks down.

I'm mowing every second week at the moment, I'm not sure if I'll be doing it anymore frequently this coming summer, we appear to be heading for a drought, water restrictions are a good possibility. Done, time for a reward.

Mostly mulch, although I did catch last time, it was a little longer than normal. This lawn is very thick, so I generally mow at the 2 or 3 highest settings, too much damage otherwise. I'm going to water it again tonight.

Playing Forza some more. Specifically I'm about to race Mugello GP circuit in the 1996 Ferrari F50 GT. Huge F50 fan, the F40 steals all the love but keep your TT V8. Ferrari are better when they're free-breathing

Thanks! I found them on Offer Up. The seller said they came off an Allante. He showed up with them in their original shipping box. I only paid $40! Lol.

I went to the golf driving range today, where the spirit of Mad Max lives on. This is their ball retrieval vehicle. Most ranges use expensive specialised carts, they got this for a few hundred dollars, it was an insurance write off after being flooded. Mechanically it's great, but some of the electrics failed. It's been hit too many times to count. Their previous one was a Mazda 2, but its motor has seized, so it sits as a target at the 150m mark as nice juicy target, I hit it 5 times today, a new record.

Dahlia "Dalina Tampico", looking irresistible in the nursery today.



This is a compact variety of Dahlia, only growing 40cm high and 40cm wide. It will flower from late spring to autumn and best grown in full sun. I just love how tightly arranged the petals are, not to mention the variegated coloring.
