Wheel wells aren't fully painted and there's a chunk of the paint gone that's level with the cab of the truck and the bed. There's a few more around it that's not being picked up by the camera. Should I try and make ford repaint this or suck it up and live with it?

You could rattle can those fender wells. You can buy that stuff the exact color of your truck
If I went that route I would go semi-gloss black

Your Ford dealer will think you are crazy if you try and make them paint that. You will be the butt of a joke for at least a day or 3 in the service department

Yeah but when I pay 75k for a truck I don't want a half assed paint job.

Anyone paying that much for a truck is the but of a joke lol.

In all seriousness, they make wheel well liner plastic inserts. Or you could raptor liner the wheel wells, even color match it. More durable than the way it is. Just a thought

Honestly the paint in the wheel wells look about average (I edited this from saying it looked fine), and better than some I’ve seen. I understand how expensive they are, but those wheel wells get chewed up from rocks etc. and most come that way. If you do wheel wells liners, I’d pull them out for cleaning behind them a couple times per year (and fluid film the area once dry).

I painted the wheel wells on my old white Silverado to semi gloss black. Big mistake. Gravel, pebbles, road salt etc would chip the black paint, showing white paint. Then again, I live off a dirt road.

As for the chunk that’s missing, I’d most likely touch that up myself. Another edit, didn’t realize there are multiples. That sucks!

I would get a bottle of touchup paint for your color for the little rock chips for now and future ones.

Do you by chance have your front bumper ppf'd? If its a metal bumper then its bound to get peppered after a time.

Unclogged my bathroom drain...yuck. Took everything apart and cleaned it. According to my LOG, it's been 5 years, so I guess that's not too bad.
I used to have to take the drain apart every 6-9 months to clean it out. Had to pull the stopper out, take off the P trap, ball up some toilet paper and shove that ball down the drain with a broom handle till it popped out below. Of course pushing a big hair ball ahead of it. The culprit was the arm that operates the stopper up and down.

So two winters ago I remodeled our two full baths and 1st floor powder room. Swapped all the drains out to pop up stoppers. That eliminates the actuation arm and plastic (inside drain) stopper.
I will most likely never have to take that apart again.

I don't know what raptor liner is, but my first thought was to spray it with undercoating type stuff.

This wasn't hair, it was...decomposed body parts? (note to self: next time you are dismembering use the slop sink in the basement) Anyway, same thing, wad up paper towels and push them through with a long screwdriver and/or paint stir stick.

We sold Raptor where I used to work, 2 or 3 packs a day going out, they also do aerosol cans, I was thinking about replacing the plastidip on my hood with this stuff, but I like that I can peel the plastidip off any time I want. I've seen whole vehicles painted in this, flat black and desert tan are the most popular colours.
