What did you do today non-detailing related?

Helped my daughter take care of a neighbors HUGE dog as she grows her pet sitting business.
 
My son drew this for his sister.
They both like RHCP, I'm so proud.

Got a chance to unintentionally test out the stopping power of the Golf R brakes on the GTI because some moron pulled out in front of me and decided to slam on their brakes.

I can confidently say the brakes have plenty of stopping power for street applications.

Amazing what people do on the roads anymore.
 
Have trouble keeping my new 572 BBC cool. Just upped the cfm game by 1400 more cfm's going from a 16" single Spal fan to 2 - 12" Spal units and a custom shroud from C&R Racing. Saw the C&R box when I pulled up the driveway and was like a little kid at X-mas lol. Wish me luck

Sitting on the altan today and watch all of the nice Ford Mustangs driving by. The little town I live in Sweden is hosting Mustang Car Club of Swedens national meet this weekend. They started to drive by late yesterday and keeps coming. Sadly they don't seems to be getting a nice weather during the weekend. A lot of rain showers is in the forecast.

What's new from what I've seen so far. Is that it's seems to be many of the newer modells than before. So maybe it's a trend to import those lately. Will see if there comes more of the Mustang classics. As of now it's been way more of the newer Mustangs which is not been useally when it's been hosting Mustang meet here before. Maybe the ones with the classics Mustangs have bought the newer Mustangs to have as DD or when driving longer. A little strange it is.

Thursday I paid a $99 transfer fee to get a 2014 corvette shipped to my local carmax from a TX carmax.

It should be here next week for me to test drive and hopefully purchase. I will be getting an extended warranty through carmax (skeptical I know it's a gamble)

It has all the options I want except not 100%sure on the gray seats yet :-)

Sure I'll add wheels, exhaust, and tint.

The CarMax warranty is awesome, check out Doug DeMuro and his Land Rover extended warranty through CarMax, its legit for sure

Did an interior detail on the SS early this morning in the garage while it was raining. Adam’s Interior Detailer was used as a wipe down after everything was cleaned with Griot’s Interior Cleaner. Vacuumed up residue from my traipsing through weeds to go bass fishing plus crumbs from the back seat princesses. Glass got cleaned with Stoner’s Invisible Glass Cleaner. On the way home I realized I forgot to clean the rear window...:doh:

Drove the family up to Monroe, Wisconsin for a day of relaxation, cheese, beer and fudge shopping plus family togetherness. It rained almost the whole way there so I got to see the rain beading up and running off of the hood. TWSS still going strong! One drawback though was when I stopped to gas up the SS I couldn’t help but smell the water in the windshield washer reservoir, it stunk! Why can’t gas station owners put windshield washer fluid in there and stop being so da**ed cheap. Tap water + bug guts + warm weather =rancid water. Great day behind the Cheddar Curtain then the realization we had to return to the state of Illinois. As a family we boo the ‘welcome to Illinois’ sign every time we come back. Booooooooooooooooooo!

Both the SS and her Beast are FILTHY! Tomorrow I plan on two bucket washing the two of them.
