Been listening to jazz for half my life. Just saw a doc on PBS in the American Masters series about Miles. Learned that he rushed his recovery on his voice which gave him that gravelly voice. Didn't matter because when he put his mouth on the horn it was over! Without looking up the name of the song its the first one on that soundtrack for that French movie with the star on the album cover....that song will close ANY deal if you catch my drift

If someone reading this right now has never heard of Miles Davis and/or his music I ask you to PLEASE go to Spotify and listen to "Kinda of Blue", recorded in 1959. Then listen to it again Fast forward 10 years later to "Bitches Brew"...yes, it's the same guy.

After that, check out before "Kinda Blue" and everything leading up to "Bitches Brew" and let me know what you think

Mazda has a CX 4 in Asia. So to avoid “confusion,” they went with CX30 to fit in between the CX 3 and CX 5 in other parts. I think they still may have created confusion...:laughing::laughing:

Yeah, since the CX-3 is based on the Mazda 2, they coulda just named that CX-2. They did trademark CX-10 through CX-90 so maybe they'll start cleaning it all up.

Probably no idea who he is. She is in to Pentatonix, Beatles, Ava Max, Old 60's, 70's and 80's music, One Direction, Imagine Dragons etc. Fairly diverse but no jazz. She just plays what she's asked to. LOL
 
So I went to the store today to get a new ethernet cord since my wife's cat decided to be a butt and damage my other one..... as I walk in the door and the manager walked up to me and said hey Jay would you like the new 6900XT today. I said my God yes thank you (don't worry about why they know my name). This card is super hard to get. Santa must love me in 2020. I had to remove the price tag off and mix it with my other box's due to I want to make it to see tomorrow lol

Dude it’s funny you say that. I need an ethernet cord for the 1st time in years and I’m about to buy 1 on ebay for like $5 bucks. What are the odds? Lol

Well always get one free from the Verizon tech guy when I see them around. This time I needed a 24ft cord to go from one room to another and that's the one she chose to damage lol. $5 ain't bad

What did I do non-detailing today...found out I tested negative for the covid today! I had to take a test on Thursday afternoon because our 18yr old daughter tested positive on Thursday morning! Thank goodness shes asystematic!

She was infected by her good friend that also infected his other good friend...amazingly enough my wife tested negative on Thursday morning and given how close my wife and daughter are it’s unbelievable that she was negative!

His parents have a lake house about two hours away and as soon as they found out he was positive and had no symptoms they said “see ya”! When we found out that our daughter was positive and that she had no symptoms...we also said see ya...she actually wanted to go, better than sitting in her bedroom!

By the way, It is my personality to make lite of stressful situations, it’s my coping mechanism because this could’ve gone the other way very quickly given my daughters health over the last five years.

In other news, my wife and I also enjoyed a great Grimaldis pizza tonight too, half cheese and half The Don!

Replaced the cabin air filter. Apparently the previous owner didn’t do this regularly or he didn’t know it had one.
