What did you do today non-detailing related?

Ha ha, my legs and hips are still recovering after that effort.

I sort of know what you mean as I went over to help a friend do a quick interior and exterior detail for his new 2022 Honda Accord Hybrid. Nice cleaning of both and then Griots Ceramic 3-in-1 for the exterior and Pinnacle Leather and Vinyl Coating to protect the interior. So much scrubbing and rubbing that both shoulders were sore all evening and when I was trying to sleep.

I probably didn't help the situation. When I have something I want done, I tend to go and go and go until it's done. A little bit more H2O would have been helpful. :doh:

Funny you mention that as I’m about the same. He brought out a bottle of water for me and reminded me 3 times before I drank any. A lot to get done in a relatively short amount of time. I’m glad I’m not a pro as that is a lot of work; then again, I’d be in better shape.

Got home to Hawaii on Saturday after a month in Alaska for the holidays

Luckily Alaska Airlines is used to snowy weather IN ALASKA so we actually got out, unlike the poor folks trying to get out of Seattle

Anyway all my furniture on the lanai is coated in red dirt

Time to break out the garbage shampoo and get after it

Absolutely garbage foam but it got the majority of the dirt off with a fender brush and elbow grease

Flooring looks great man! Now paint the walls to match and throw in some red accents to pull in the cars :dblthumb2:

And just like that, the most important (to me anyway) door in the house is now RED!!









When I went into the small independent paint supply store, I was asked if I needed a hand........... Yes! I want some RED paint! See the red Mustang in your car park, I want it like that! The man looked somewhat stunned but was very helpful. I left with a can of Geranium Red paint.

It's pretty out there, but that's the point. I love color, and I love the color red even more!

I have been seeing a therapist for a number of years now. It became obvious early on the I have a positive association with the color red, it now signifies happiness and enthusiasm across many aspects of my life. And it all started with my Race Red Mustang. I have countless red shoes and clothes, a red watch, red cars, red computer mouse, red phone, red coffee machine..............I could go on but you get the picture. And now I have a red door to my garage, where many other red things reside. All that may sound stupid, but every little thing that can help ones mental state the better.
