No, and that would be a new one on me
My son just finished putting down LVP in his house (our old house) with the help of a mutual friend who does this for a living and vapor barrier was never mentioned
After you expressed concerns about using the LVP in possible damp environments I went back and reviewed the product
“30 Years, Residential Resilient Limited Warranty - Defects, Wear, Waterproof, Petproof”
Says it’s absolutely fine in bathrooms, kitchens, etc
Not sure what to tell you, I’m no pro at this so I guess I’m trusting the contractor
I just looked on line a bit and a vapor barrier is suggested on concrete, especially below grade, but our house has a heated and super insulated crawl space that should be dry as a bone…
