Thanks! A friend of ours had them on his 981 Spyder and when he sold it back to the dealer he put his original wheels back on and gave me the HRE’s, complete w a nearly new set of Michelin PS 4 S’s on them.

The fitment/backspacing on them pushed the wheels out just the right amount to fill up the wheel wells very nicely vs stock.

HRE doesn’t offer it anymore but the wheels have their ‘Stone’ finish which gives it a neat marbled look under the clear.

Yep…said he’d rather see them on my car than bother with selling them. Obviously a great guy, first met him at an Esoteric Cars & Coffee down here in Columbus a few years ago.

He had a beautiful GT3 at the time:

I was doing a bit of a tidy up today, and I found some maps that should be in my map box. I can't throw them away, society could collapse, zombies, someone could turn off GPS accidentally. Anyway, I found this map I needed to update, I'd been marking all my road trips on it. I haven't been to the far west, or up north, yet.

My brother turned up in his second hand 2021 AMG GLE63 SUV i think that's about right i don't do Euro car's.

And i was looking at the Multi beam LED headlights only to find marks on the inside of the headlight housing my right EYE twitching more this time than his last one that only had the V6 Twin turbo this one has the 4.0 liter Twin turbo V8.

Funny how a car can cost over 130k and still have cosmetic problems.

No pictures, but helped my brother change the front struts in his 2011 Rav4. It has something like 160k miles on it and struts were original. The old ones were so bad, they would collapse under their own weight. We did the rear shocks about a month ago. He said it's like a new car...well, at least the bounce control is back to being safe.

Yup, now I just need to get him to wash it. I bet he hasn't been washed in years. I did a quick test on one of the wheels with some Megs Ultimate Wheel cleaner. It was 'bawling' purple.

I might just have to take it for a day and do a full detail, or at least a wash and All-in-one polish. Or, maybe I bring my supplies to his house and go to town....mainly so I can practice my (limited) polishing skills. I bet the black paint would look 'wet' with a good polish. Too bad his B-day is not till October, but Father's day is coming up(hmmm?).

This is sort of detailing, but not auto detailing. I washed my golf bats. I used a warm bucket of Mother's California Gold, warm because maybe it helps clean, but mainly because I didn't want my hands to get cold.

In golf gps is super awesome. This gives you distances to the front, back , and middle of the green. Carry distances to cover hazards etc. You can measure you shots with it as well.

Many people use gps apps on their phones or watches. This has it built in. No app needed but it does sync with phone app too if you’d like.
