What did you do today non-detailing related?

Watched the gas comp. tech install a new gas meter and check for leaks. Part of an upgrade and we were next on the list. All electronic now. New water meter was installed last year. All went well. No leaks or issues. He was in and out in 20 min. No charge to the customer.
I remember when they first started installing smart electricity meters here. All electronic, people were happy, no more meter readers coming around, possible reading metres wrong. Then they discovered that smart metres could also turn off your AC during peak usage periods, like stinking hot days when everyone has their AC turned on. Happened to us out our old house a few times, but we could turn it back on as often as they turned it off, but it hasn't happened at the new house even though this has a bigger AC unit, this house is has much better insulation so we only have to run it minimum settings. We also have solar panels.

And yet, they all want us in electric cars, which completely ignores the lack of electrical supply during peak periods, ie summer when everyone is running their electric air conditioners.

Affirmative.

FWIW I respect what the Vikings have done and I'm worried about our D because you guys have the firepower like we do but your D isn't as decimated as ours, we've got some awesome ends though, gotta play out of their minds though...and smart

I very much like professional and college football. I had season tickets for the Pittsburgh Steelers for 25 years.

Once while tailgating before a game i got into a discussion with my brother in law about wearing any players jersey. I said that i would wear team clothing but id never wear any individuals name on my back as that is worshiping them. Said id wear their name on my back as soon as they agreed to wear my name on their back. He said that was the craziest thing he ever heard. Paying rediculous money to wear someone elses name on ones back it what sounds crazy to me.
I wore a Barry Bonds jersey to a Dodgers game once.
Darn near got myself killed

Trying to help a neighbor. She didn't even have the common decency to apologize or ask if I was OK
I gotta get out of this shithole city
Last time I got bit by a dog (German Shephard) I wound up in the hospital, and it was my friend's father's dog, who he (my friend) used to tease mercilessly. I don't think I can find the scars anymore. Not long after the dog bit my friend and his father had it euthanized.

I really didn't need to see that, Flash.

The dog bit you in the ass? If you are serious, be careful with that, when I got bit the dog was chomping on my arm (I was holding him off), and in the ER they made ME scrub every toothhole with betadyne and a little plastic scrubber like the kind that comes on the side of a GoJo bottle for scrubbing under your fingernails. That was no fun. I think that was my first tetanus shot, too.

My hand and then my ass
I poured rubbing alcohol on it

Hopefully I won't die 💀

The last time I got a puncture wound from a dog was my own fault, but it was an automatic response. At a dog park an Amstaf was holding Buster by the scruff of the neck and wouldn't release him, I grabbed it and was trying to separate it's jaws, puncturing my own index finger trying to pull the teeth apart, it was sore for about a week. The other dog started it, but ended up worse off, Buster was going for the throat while being held, dogs with thin coats have less protection, and this one had some open wounds under the neck, they weren't serious, but we're obvious on a white dog. I only found that Buster had a couple of tiny wounds on the back of his neck the next day when they formed a scab. Him and his sister play by dragging each other around by the scruff, so he wasn't really bothered at all. I don't go to that dog park anymore.

I never go to dog parks.
Last time I did I had to break up a dog fight by kicking the aggressor in the head.
After getting them separated the purple haired freak lady (who's dog was the one being attacked) came at me saying I was being too aggressive. Before I knew it there were 6 more freaks coming at me.
I quickly retreated to my car only to have them beating the sides of my car

Any dog that bites when it's not warranted should be put down (imo...)

So she would have been happier if you just let her dog be attacked. I'm not sure about putting them down, but should definitely have to be muzzled in public, and have to pay for insurance to cover any injuries they may cause.

Same thing I was yelling at her and her freakaziod posse.
If I hadn't have stepped in her dog would have died.
It was as simple as that

The owner of the aggressive dog was the only one who thanked me for getting them apart

I've always been told once a dog gets a taste of blood they'll always want more
