We got 8 mill Friday night and it blew out to Bass Strait high winds next few day's.
 
Got the front mowed and trimmed and it looks like crap

This winter without snow has had some strange effects on lawns and stuff

Instead of covering and protecting the grass it let it get beaten by wind and dust and cold instead of insulating it

That's my guess anyway

Headed out to the birthday party in a few minutes
 
I’m back from the birthday party and Down Under birthday wishes were extended to my granddaughter

She actually not 12 until the 30th but they are leaving on vacation tonight so they had an early party

I have some nice ribeyes on the grill since I don’t eat pizza or birthday cake

Have a good holiday weekend fellas and remember those who gave everything so we can enjoy our freedom

That goes for you good friends down under and in Canada too

My niece turns 12 next month 12 going on 21 her attitude is sassy sometimes, didn't have this with my nephew at that age....
 
Rejoined Facebook for the first time in over a decade, maybe longer. I made a profile for the sole purpose of keeping track of local car shows and cruises. Making car friends essentially. Yesterday I saw a 2013 GT, day before I saw a 2012 Boss 302. I wanna find these guys. I need S197 friends :(

I saw one drive past this afternoon while I was out mowing the lawn, I was pretty sure of what it was, then I clocked the number plate, FGT-500, which confirmed it. Looked just like the one in this pic, maybe the wheels were different, it was moving and they may have been darker. b3bbf7102096ea0842255efd79f1eb0c.jpg

Black with red stripes is so menacing looking. The first one I looked at prior to getting mine was that color combo, a 2013, though. Had an accident and hack body work, wasn't worth it.

Yeah, this one looked, and sounded, great, it was in excellent condition, as far as I could tell from a quick drive by. Menacing is good description too.

I'm guessing you would like the Boss 302 Leguna Seca?



At the time, FPV gave the same visual treatment to GT R-Spec. This was based on the regular GT, but sported a much firmer suspension tune paired with wider rear wheels and tires. The supercharged V8 was the same, but they included a launch control feature. Styling was based around the Boss 302 look with Vixen Red accents set against the Silhouette black paint. They also got black brake calipers and












The red and black theme was an acquired taste though, most of the 350 R-Spec's were painted white or blue or red.







There was also a Ute, these were only offered in the black and red theme..................................

I have the FPV Pursuit in Forza, a 2014

And the Leguna Seca was my second choice. I was looking at them. The Black with Red is the most common, the rarest is Silver. I was looking at white and yellow ones. But any would be cool. If I could have another fun car at the wave of a wand, it would likely be that.

Its amazing how much the traction control cuts in the 500. Hard 3rd gear pull and I saw it go from 12 to 5 psi and then when I shifted to 4th it gave me full boost the whole gear. Just knocked the cob webs off

Replaced water hose thanks to flexzilla lifetime warranty. While installing new one…couldn’t resist cleaning hose reel and protecting with some leftover ceramic coating.IMG_3854.jpg

Are you guys seeing more and more businesses that are charging an extra 2.5% to 3.5% if you use a credit card?

It is becoming a pretty big deal here in many independently owned businesses

Some are even enforcing the price hike for debit cards

Are we headed back to a cash society?

I wouldn’t mind. I have a hard time dealing with businesses that don’t take cash.
