What did you do today non-detailing related?

Rod and reel set for throwing some large baits arrived today.

I can’t imagine an 8 ounce bait. I’ll mostly use this for 2-4 ounces

Dobyns fury rod
Piscifun alijoz 300 reel with power handle
Shimano armajoint swimbait

Have you had any luck this year? I went once about 2 weeks ago and caught a 4lb smallie on a megabass pop max

Just vacuumed the external intake and exhaust hood screens and the internal air horns for the HRV system as well as all the return duct grilles for the furnace system

I heard the HRV intake whistling this morning which is a sign it is getting choked off

The cottonwood seed fluff gets sucked into the screens and builds up in just a couple of days and can burn out the recirculating fan motor if you don’t stay on top of it

A once-a-year job, a heavy winter prune of this ornamental grape vine, or Vitis Vinifera. This is a job of two halves, I really like pruning, but then I really dislike ladders.

From this.....................

To this..............................

And after pruning back to a main framework, to this.........................

It's impressive how much material this one plant generates in a single season. Prior to planting, the summer sun would belt through the windows and meant a heavy reliance on climate control. Now though, the foliage blocks out the harsh sunlight, significantly reducing temperatures inside. Come winter, the lack of foliage allows the sunlight to pass through and reduce heating costs.

Went for a walk it was cold, but did the 8km walk in 1 hour and 29 minutes. Even though I stopped to say hello to my new friend Choccy the 6 month old lamb.

She came out from behind a bush and took me by surprise, I gave her a good scratch behind the ears and head then to my surprise did a 180 degree spin, and jumps in the air.

No pics of the sheep as the pockets in my walking jacket only fit a credit card.

It takes me that long to cover 5km with the dogs, lots of stops for sniffing, peeing, and occasionally pooing, and that's the dogs doing it, not me.
