What do you see splattered all along the bottom of this car?

I see road tar or sealer and a lot of elbow grease in your future!! :laughing:
 
A contractor contacted me. He said one of his guys picked up and moved cones that were blocking off and area that was freshly tared. Along comes Mr. Z8 and drives right through the area!! The wheel wells were caked with tar!!! Poor little car!

We used Meguiars body solvent and steam to remove all the tar. The trick was to go nice and easy and let the solvent and the steam do the work.

All better now. I am glad I brought cheapy Sam's club rags because the are junk now!

I was going to suggest a tar remover or kerosine along with some steam but you're already way ahead of me....outstanding save!!! :props:

Wow nice save! Body solvent eh? I will have to keep that in mind for tar removal.
 
looks like the VX5000 steamer.

Is solvent the same as Tarminator or Tardis?

its not the same ingredients wise, alot of people say the body solvent is not that strong meaning it cant remove the set in tar and such and mainly fresh stuff. heard its just takes a while to work if it does work and they say its one of the detailer line's worst offerings. tarminator works awesome on tar, even the stuff baked onto exhaust's works great. then again anything containing d-limonene in a higher concentration works great...
 
I hear lots say they hate Body Solvent. If used properly the stuff rocks. It never has let me down on fresh or hard dried tar.
 
I see tar sealant, and dollar signs as well, ha. That's what great about removing this kind of stuff. Most people have no clue where to start...so you can kind of charge what you feel.

A number of detailers had already pass on the job by the time this guy got to me. They left a lot of $$$ on the table for me to pick up. Im the MAN
