What do you think of this Griot's polishing kit?

The work time seems to be the biggest issue with 105. Unless you're using the Kevin Brown method, you'll generally only get 1-3 section passes and then lots of dusting. Having used a machine polisher for the first time the other weekend, and having nothing else to compare the 105 to, I didn't find it too bad. But seeing how much work time and little dust some other products offer, I can see why people have a more difficult time with the 105. Supposedly, Meguiars may be introducing a 105 v2.0 in the future with a longer work time, so we'll see.

What makes it difficult to use?
Dries quickly(short buffing cycle), and hard to remove. Go pick up some Megs ultimate compound from your local auto parts store. It's derived from M105, has just a little less cut. It MUCH easier to use. Doesn't dry as fast(longer buffing cycle), and much easier to wipe off. Buy some M205 to follow up after Ultimate Compound. M205 is easy to use like ultimate compound.
