What do you wear when you detail?

This is how I pretty much dressed and dress. I then just went back to the car, took off my Polo and through on my apron.

I am going to get a custom embroidered apron.

Joe's presentation still makes me laugh :laughing: I need to ask him if he did it on purpose or not, next time I see him. lol

Dry tech t shirt with my logo, hat with logo, khaki shorts, comfortable shoes.

During the winter same getup but hoodie and jeans.
 
I found a picture of Bob! (might of been taken back in the days)

When people ask, "So Bob, you have been very successful in your career. How do you advertise to keep getting more business?" Then Bob doesn't say anything and just does this...



The lady interviewing automatically falls in love and she then understands his successful marketing strategies.

(There's a "driving off into the sunset" somewhere in there, but I'll just leave that part to everyone's own imagination.)

In all seriousness though, soft basketball style shorts and a t-shirt in the summer and sweat pants/long sleeve under armor style shirt/hoodie in the winter
 
Basketball shorts and a t-shirt in the summer with crocs, and similar material pants with a fleece coat over the shirt in the winter (no buttons or anything). It's a little more difficult as it gets colder, but the outer layer has to be soft.
 
I used to own thick, double-nap Polartec 300 pants that were super-warm. I'm not sure what happened to them, but they'd make really good cold weather car washing pants.
 
FWIW, the CG microfiber apron is ridiculously plush. And green like Oscar the Grouch!
 
Detailkitty, why not try out detailing apron? I've seen quite a few wearing it. I usually work with jeans and t-shirt. My car has soft paint and it scratch easily, I try my best to be careful when doing the roof or windshield.
 
Summer, shorts and t-shirt, in the winter shorts and t-shirt, and I don't think any one would want to see me in tights. I am close enough to the water some one would come by and try to roll me back in. :xyxthumbs:
