No, but I always use a foam gun to presoak a car, after I rinse it. This helps a lot. I don't let my car get that dirty where I have to use a 2 bucket system. And in case it does get very dirty, I rinse it first, presoak it with a foam gun. After 5 mins I rinse that foam off, and refoam with a foam gun again. Basics is taking a area after polishing and wiping down with alcohol/water to remove fillers and make sure they are not hiding swirls you thing are gone. Thus if caught you can now move to more aggressive pad or polish and restart before finishing an entire car.
