what is with all these abbreviations???

Great, I need a FUBAR definition haha. I think I have the F and U part LOL.

EDIT: hahahaha, I just googled it, I like that one.
 
Hi, I'm Charles from Indy, and new.... I have almost give up trying to make out some of the abbreviations on this forum.....I love the subjects that come up, but soon loose interest, because I don't what you are meaning with all the abbreviations. I'm sure with more reading I will get the hang of it, great forum. I have just purchased a new GMC Terrain SLT2, Moca Metalic.

How funny, I just scanned this whole thread looking for a link to an "acronym finder" thread, and there wasn't one, so I searched a bit on my own, and didn't really find anything helpful. I came here from another forum where I learned all the acronyms, so I never really looked for one here. We really need one, I'll start a thread about it.
 
I didn't find that one to be helpful, really. For one, it doesn't have any terms, only products. (No 2BM, BDWM, LSP, etc.)
 
GMC, suv ....very popular here in the midwest.....color is a grey/ brown tone, i'm not very good at colors.

It's not once you get a hang of what's what. The problem is ask these forums use abbreviations. Especially car forums. And if you belong to several forums, it can be confusing. It took me two days to figure out what ONR and LSP meant. I think the definition list should be a sticky.

I totally agree with the original poster. Thank God that Mike doesn't use acronyms and abbreviations when he makes a "How To" videos. I'm quite sure that there is a ton of information to be had on this forum, however, as a newbie 9 out of 10 threads that I start to read I just give up and say to hell with it because I don't have any idea what all of the initials mean. It's not worth the aggravation....And, no, I don't text either.
 
I understand and feel your frustration, BUT you can always ask I do.
