That's a bummer...One of my childhood friends had a Vega with a 12:1 compression 231 cid. Buick engine that he built with Holly 750 cfm 4 barrel carb and Doug Nash 5 speed. I always thought they looked good too! yeh bummer on my part...but i did get involved with a vega build with a friend of mine many years ago....a stock 396 big block shoe-horned in a vega.....took some time but we finally got that thing to stay staight when you pushed the go pedal!!!!
