I walked away at one of these at a auto auction 15 years ago, did not think it would sell....my bid $1100 and shook my head to get out at $1200......boy was i stupid! The car sold for $1150.......should of went back! The cosworth was a cool car in its time and bad quick for a vega!

That's a bummer...One of my childhood friends had a Vega with a 12:1 compression 231 cid. Buick engine that he built with Holly 750 cfm 4 barrel carb and Doug Nash 5 speed. I just like the styling of the Vega.

I always thought they looked good too! yeh bummer on my part...but i did get involved with a vega build with a friend of mine many years ago....a stock 396 big block shoe-horned in a vega.....took some time but we finally got that thing to stay staight when you pushed the go pedal!!!! LOL

As for the dream car to detail. Well whatever it is I own..I would hate to detail something i love but cannot own it and clean it perfectly and then give it back.
 
2007 Escudo XL7 Twin Peaks Trial Car. I'm all about speed... but having 1100 bhp that can still maintain traction on dirt, gravel, grass, or snow with AWD... I don't think it gets any better than that :xyxthumbs:

I love my muscle, 1969 GTX.
