What is your fave APC and Detail Spray?

Either. Although Apc+ smells a bit better :)

As for wash, you are better off with Optimum or Ultima.

Which one is better as far as cleaning tho (APC)

Which works better as a clay, detail spray, and such (DS)

I basically have to place an order thru Chemical Guys and Autogeek so I just want to buy whichever one is going to be the best.

As far as detail sprays, I vote for Chemical Guys Synthetic Detail Spray. Less dust attraction than other QDs and easier to work with on warm surfaces. It is very, very slick too!

For the money, you just can't beat Meguiar's APC or APC+ (you can pick up two gallons of either one, plus a matching spray bottle for $31.99)!

For detail spray, I used to use Griot's Garage Speed Shine and was very satisfied with it, but I have since moved on to Blackfire products. Interestingly, while their quick detailer works great on shorter nap microfibers, I find that their waterless carwash works much better with longer nap microfibers, which seem to have more drag with their QD spray. It could have just been the spot I was using it, but since then, I've been using their waterless car wash instead.

I really like ONR. I use it as a QD, a clay lube and a rinse less wash. For buying APC by the gallon I think it is hard to beat Meg's. If you only need an APC for personal use I really like Pinnacle which is on BOGO right now

Apc I don't really care, just pick something up. Simple green, zep..

Detail spray definitely Adam's

Which ALL CLEAN are you guys using? The All Clean or the All Clean +...because there is a decent price difference between the two?

They are the same price in the 16oz versions; AC+ is 50% more in gallon form on the CG site. The difference is that All Clean dilutes at 1:4 and All Clean+ is citrus-based/dilutes at a higher rate (1:20 & 1:10). My assumption is that All Clean is an older formula and All Clean+ is a newer one.

Seems that the CG guys sometimes keep older and newer versions of the same product on sale for a bit (maybe to give peeps the opp to buy up all the old stuff).

Yes. The newer one contains wax. And it works. I QD'ed my bike before visiting the service center. As usual there will be grease all over. All that went off with just a wipe. And I had no protection on the bike till then. So it does work.

Isn't the wax content in the onr wash and wax be stained to the paint if we used it as a claylube or qd for priming pad? That is the reason y I still stick to onr wash and shine...

+1 I have a gallon of the synthetic detailer and it does it's job very well. No complaints with it as a quick detailer. Of course like most cg products it smells great too

I recently tried Duragloss Ultimate Orange and prefer it over Megs APC and APC+. It cleaned tires at 10:1 ratio better than Megs APC at 4:1. The scent is also more pleasant.

I don't use detail sprays other than ONR for clay lube.

Is there really a bad APC? I have never really been disappointed by a basic cleaner. Can't help on detail spray, hardly ever use it.

My favorite APC is Totally Awesome, cost only one buck and does everything I need it to do.
One bottle makes me about two gallons.

I now use Turle Wax Rinseless Wash for my DS,six dollar bottle makes me a gallon and the stuff works as good as the more expensive stuff I onced used.

Megs APC and uww+

It's funny how waterless and rinseless wash products have replaced traditional detail sprays to the point of people referring to them as detail sprays.

I think the same thing will happen to sealants. With coatings becoming easier to use and lasting much longer its only a matter of time before coatings replace sealants.

Now waxes...there will always be those regardless of how much better other LSPs are.

UWW+ is kinda one of those multiple purpose products as it has a QD dilution ratio as well and is by far my favorite QD I have ever used.

Simple Green APC , Sonax BSD , Meguiars Ultimate Detailer & tw ice detailer , wich I can get otc easily .

Might give a shot to Meg s new D114 later on , seems interesting .

I stay away from Simple Green myself due to the etching issues

APC+ forms megs. ProForce purple degreaser for tough stuff
