What is your favorite Spray on Wax??

This caught my eye more than once. Is it overkill to use it as a post wash booster? I was under the impression it was more of a LSP type product.
Yes, that would be overkill. Prima "wax as you dry" would be a better booster after a wash.

Prima Hydro Max (as a real wax if I feel the car could use a wax but lack the time)
Meguiars 156/ Ultimate Quick wax (Cheap in bulk works great readily available)
Duragloss Aquawax (Semi CHeap in Bulk works great seems to last little longer)
Optima rinseless wash and Wax Diluted as a spray (I use this when i want a little cleaner mixed in for water spots or as quick detailer with wax in it)

I had to scroll through his to see if I already commended or not, LOL.

D156. Great value. Easy to use. Adds gloss and slickness. Fills *slightly* and leaves enough protection for a few weeks. Beads are insane for a spray wax. Cheap enough and easy enough to use after every wash.

Is it ok to use this as a drying aid?

I've used some of the products mentioned here (such as AquaWax and 156) and they are really good. A very similar product that is inexpensive and can be found locally at most auto stores and even at WalMart, is Lucas Slick Mist Speed Wax. Lucas is as versatile as AquaWax in that it can be used on all car surfaces, either as a drying aid or as a "topper" on a dry, clean car.

I buy mine at WalMart and Slick Mist there is even slightly cheaper than AquaWax so it really represents an outstanding value. It is not talked about very much but this is an excellent product due to its performance, versatility, availability and price point. The great "bubble gum" smell is a nice bonus.

First time I've heard it mentioned here. I blow off water after wash with leaf blower then use Slick Mist as a drying aid and it leaves an incredible look and slickness.

. Since its 95% water the answer is Yes! :)

I picked up a bottle of slick mist Saturday and gave it a try, it worked okay for it being 40° outside.

I can comment on three that I use the most.

Meg's UQW
Meg's Wash & Wax
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Spritz

They are all easy to use and give an excellent gloss. I liked WDGS so much I ordered a gallon refill.

Yes, Lucas Slick Mist is seldom mentioned here - but should be. I use it just like you, after a wash and dry with a leaf blower. There is just enough water left on the car to require drying and Slick Mist makes that chore with a waffle weave towel much easier, while giving a nice shine at the same time.

I am not saying it is better than AquaWax or Megs 156 but because it is so versatile and inexpensive (not to mention that it can be found everywhere locally), it is certainly worth a try.

I also use Lucas Slick mist and enjoy it. I use it to dry and clean my door jambs quite often.

Spray Wax=Optimum Spray Wax
Spray Sealant=Wolfgang Spray Sealant
Both produce a very glossy finish, and are not finicky.

I just bought and tried Meg's UQW based on feedback from here. It's awesome the ease of use and the crazy beading it offered are amazing. I'll probably still use DGAW as my drying aid but as a stand alone QW for my dd UQW is going to be my go to now.

I just did the exact same thing. I uses it as a drying aid and the shine afterwards is crazy. I'm hooked and it OTC which makes it easy to get.

I mostly use D156, but sometimes I will switch up and use Griot's.

This is the Sleeper. I have used Megs UQW/D156 and LSM in comparison and they easily stand side-by-side for ease of use, ease of application, and versatility. Can be used as a drying aid and in direct sunlight with no streaks and found locally at any Wal-Mart

I use Ultima Waterless Wash Plus+ Concentrate as a drying aid. Spray it on as a very light mist and wipe it off with a Megs waffle weave towel As an added benefit it applies a fresh application of synthetic wax applied as well. The improvement in gloss is noticeable.

I love the Auqawax Spray wax.
I ran out of it so went to a large chain auto store, as I was in there I saw a nice looking black box.
It was Eagle One superior Nano wax spray.
Well today I applied the Duragloss 601 and 105.
As I sprayed a little of the Nano spray over the combo I was surprised it worked like a professional spray wax, not an OTC product.

Little goes a long way
Wipe it a couple of times, it just disappears right before your eyes leaving it clear, very little to no buffing required.
I'll try it again, if I still like it I'll start using it and replace it over the Duragloss.
Coat?
7.00.
Great smells too.

Durability and longevity remain in question. Quick flashing tends to mean a higher concentration of ols may be in the solution.
