What (mini + carpet brush)machine to buy next to flex!

Now I'm a little confused
Which one is more reliable griots 6 or pc xp

I will buy it online
So I will not have warranty in my country

What I read pc is very reliable
What about griots?

The Griot's Garage polisher comes with a lifetime warranty, which won't help you. It does, however, indicate that Griot's Garage has a lot of confidence in the unit. Gary Dean has had one failure with a GG6, but it was replaced under warranty, and it was the only failure that I have heard of.

The Porter Cable 7242XP comes with a shorter warranty (1 year, I think?). However, the unit is considered to be extremely durable, and there are many of the older 7424 that have been in use for over 10 years. They literally don't break. I would suppose that they would if somebody dropped them onto concrete from 25 feet up, or if you overheated them by running a long extension cord that was too small a gauge, but in normal use, they don't really break very often.

Have you verified that they are available in your location's voltage?

And what amazing about pc
I found someone his machine broke
Nearly after 9 years wow (old version not the xp)
That's really amazing because of that I believe it's the device for me

But you know gg6 has more power
Because of that I get confused I want someone confirm if the gg6 has also good reliablety

I contacted griots they said I it's not available in my country so I have to buy it online

I contacted PC
They didn't say anything yet I'm waiting for there replay
They keep saying someone will contact you after 10 days and 5 emails
No one till me if it's avaliable here or not
So I'm waiting again and again for simple question!
Because if it's avaliable for sure I will buy it locally

Otherwise I need to decide which one Is more reliable


And I contacted both pc and griots agien about the devices if they have 220V
I'm waiting there replay

Griots replay now they only have 110v
I will search for griots in Europe I think they have 220v

They said pc only avaliable on North America

So it's mean now I should check if I can find griots in UK it will be 220v

Otherwise I should do search again for another device


I found cyclo but the price 600 usd it's expensive because in anyway I'm going to buy flex
And cyclo not in my country so there's no warranty also! But it's 220v

I need cheap polisher now that I can use it for carpet also

From what I heard here there's rupes I can buy it locally
And bosch
And meguiar's
And off course flex
I don't know if there's other companies here

Hi,

You could always check to see if the Bosch 1250 DEVS is available in your country. It is a dual mode device that can be a forced rotation (like a Flex 3401) and a free rotation (like a PC or a GG6, or pretty much the same as any other random orbital polisher) with a flip of the mode switch. Only thing is, it is only a 6" backing plate, so no change of plate sizes. Might be the best all around solution if it is available in 220V. I suppose you can also look at an XC3401 and a Flex XFE7-15 as well, but that is two very expensive machines. There are some DAS 6 machines that that are 220/240 V, ans seem to get a good review on the Forensic Detailing youtube channel (I think he favours the DAS6 Pro Plus). They don't seem to be too expenisve. He doesn't go into backing plates much, so I don't know if they would have different sizes available.

Junkman2000 did a review of it on youtube.

I was thinking to buy pc and change the output in my wall to 110v
Just to use pc
Or I have to forget about machine carpet brush buffer :(

When I search for das 6 pro
I found interesting information

(same as Porter Cable) I hope what in my mind is right the brush for pc will work with das 6 if I understand correctly!

Forget to mention bosch not perfect for me I'm sure it's great machine

And I want now cheap and good Polisher
For me it will be first machine to start and learn with
And in the same time I can use it for carpet and cleaning leather

I'm waiting until Flex XFE7-15 arrives to my dealer after 2 month
So flex will be for Polish and the older for leather and carpet only!

If flex has good carpet brush i will not think about another machine
But they don't have :(

I think the same teviewer did another video that went over all of the DAS 6 polishers in great detail; the original DAS 6, the DAS6 Pro, and the DAS6 Pro Plus (all 4 models/versions). Before making a final choice, you should look at that, just to be sure.

The spindle on the Porter Cable is a 5/16 x 24 thread. While it is originally PC, most polishers use it (not Flex or Rupes).

Actually I didn't know about the reviewer until you give me his name

Before I buy the machine I will do my best to make sure the brush Carpet will work
Even if didn't work the machine has good reputation and its 220v

I'm still waiting reply from autogeek and seller for Das 6 pro I hope they can help me out
