What music do you listen to??

Just curious. I pretty much listen to punk, rock, metal and a little rap. I like stuff like Pennywise, Thrice, Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold, Blood for Blood, Fly Leaf (love this chick), Lostprophets, Nonpoint, Mudvayne, Otep (mean ass chick) etc.

Just want to see what some of you listen to. Oh yeh, and have to represent
Miami/South FL -> Ill Nino :righton:

Personally I can't stand rap unless it's stuff like the old Wu-Tang, or modern stuff like Jedi Mind Tricks which is sick. None of that bling bling, I'ma balla on 24's MTV crap.

Yeah, MTV = crap IMO. I like to listen to rock/punk and a little r&b at times. Favorites are My chemical romance, postal service, and Death cab for cutie.
 
I like old school rock, Alternative some Country and very little rap. I'm young but like old school bands like Lynard Skynard gotta love (Sweet Home Alabama), the Eagles, Three Doors Down so on and so on.
 
Tool of course! Metallica, Pearl Jam,U2,Black Sabbath etc. etc. Energy music.

authority zero, slightly stoopid, expendables, sublime, pepper, jason devore, marley... i can keep going... and no i dont smoke the ganja :p
 
I'm with Killr........XM---whatever I'm in the mood for! Just got the XM portable boom box for my garage when I'm detailing:-) Almost everthing.....mostly rock though. I stick with the bands everyone has heard of.
 
Roy Orbison, Mahalia Jackson, Devo, The Kinks, The Who, Eurhythmics, Traffic, Genesis, and Weird Al Yankowitz mostly. Really want to try some Hypno/Trance-Techno, though. Any suggestions, Excessive Detail?

:righton:, I've been listening to them since way back in middle school when I was a skater lol. Ever heard the version of Bro Hymm for Jason Thirsk, song gives me chills:cheers:. I have a funny mp3 of them singing Outkast Hey Yea song lol.
 
i was obsessed with pw for like a year, ive got every cd including the old wildcard/word from the wise. basically yea i have that song plus countless cover songs theyve done live and stuff. fletcher is just freaking awesome. pretty much out of nowhere invited me to lunch with him and randy and then gave me a pass and i hung out with him until i left and sang bro hymn with jim and randy. it was at jannus landing a few months ago. awesome day... one of my best memories i have ever made
 
I'll listen to anything except country and western. Love classic rock and blues, some metal and jazz, cuban son, salsa & merengue, reggae, etc. etc.

But there is one kind of music I can't stand - country music.

Oh for the love of G-d. I'm so old! Torsion tool is the only one who mentioned any bands I have heard of.

I listen to classic rock (Neil Young is my hero) and Jazz. To name a few artists I like: Neil Young, The Beatles, Steely Dan, Bob Dylan, Traffic, Clapton, Warren Zevon, Pearl Jam, Elvis Costello, Joe Jackson, Jethro Tull, I could go on for pages. And that's not even starting on Jazz with such greats as Dave Bruebeck, Miles Davis..... Stop me!

I listen to pretty much any thing with a good beat (rarely country), lately I've been listing to mid 80's early 90's rock. Tesla, Skid Row, Warrent (Cherry Pie), White Snake, White Lion, GNR, Metallica (imo the black album was the last good one), AC/DC, Pantera, Disturbed, System of a down, George Thorogood (bad to the bone), Incubus, Ozzy, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumkins, Temple of the dog, Sound Garden, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and Stone temple Pilots.
 
BLUES, blues and more blues!!!!! Also classic and 80's music!! I also like classic country. Hank Sr, Waylen, George!! New country is horrible, I think Shania Twain is the devil!!!

Well bluzman, you're in luck cause I just wrote another song and guess what, it's blues! :D Well, maybe after you read it you won't feel so lucky though. ;)
