What nationality are you?

I was born here, so was my father, grandfather and great grandfather on my mothers side.

When folks ask me what Nationality I am I reply; American.

Born in Scotland, Parents are Scottish. Lived in the UK until 8yrs old. Became a US Citizen in 1987.
 
My fathers side is Bohemian (Czech), my mothers side is from southern Poland. My grandparents on my fathers side was born here. My grandparents on my mothers side were from Galicia Poland.
 
American. Both parents and grandparents all grew up in America. My great grandfather on my dads side came over from France. I have mainly French characteristics but I am also Bohemian (or Czech as Larry A already stated).
 
Russian :) Born and raised... moved to America about 7 years ago :)
 
I was born in St. Paul, MN, so I am American by birth. I am half German, quarter Dutch, and quarter Polish. My last name, Omelenik, is Polish. :xyxthumbs:

Father born in Keil Germany. Came to US when he was 27. Mom from so far back in the Ozarks they had to pipe sunlight in.
 
I'm Thai, Chinese-Viet father, Thai on my mother side. And always proud to be.
 
Swede since back to the 17th century as far as I know. Probably longer.

You know, we look back in history and for the men and woman that fought and died in WWll to free the world of tyranny we have coined them the "Greatest Generation"..and with good reason.

My fear is that in time this generation will be known as the "Greedy Generation" . A generation where corporate profit and greed rise to the level above the care and compassion for America and the American worker. To think that anyone could meet the current cost of living in the US with a $12 - $15 and hour wage lacks common sense, compassion, and void of feeling.
