What next- my first full detail attempt

Danny everything looks amazing. Fantastic job! I'm glad I was able to help you and the results speak for themselves.

Thanks Evan!
One is only as good as his teacher.

When I read your advice I can't help but resort to a childhood memory (I'm 43) of the Karate Kid, You and Mike are my Mr. Miagi, "WAX ON.....WAX OFF" :props::props:

Yes I agree. I have always owned Chevy's, this is my first Ford. I went to the dealership looking for a used car for my son. A week later I drove this truck off the lot. Needless to say my son wasn't too happy, but so far I love the truck. I noticed your tinted headlights, were those part of the FX4 package?

I can appreciate your replies Evan, that takes some time to dissect a post like Danny's using the quote feature in vBulletin.

Great answers too...

Great explanations and info...

Thank you for your business and your trust. This forum has great members as you can see by the quality of the replies to your questions in this thread.

You just don't get this kind of help or support on most forums.

I downloaded two of your pictures and then uploaded them into your free gallery here on AGO...

Here they are "inserted" instead of attached....

:)
I see that your tires looked shined nicely, however, I would highly recommend optimum opti bond applied with a paint brush for tires that size

Nice work and great looking cars! You did right by getting more pads for the PC. Change them often and your results will be better and more consistent. Not to mention the polish will remain easy to remove instead of gunking up on the paint surface.

I'm guessing this is just for IE and FF browsers. I use a Mac and there is no icon for switching to editor mode.
There is a "wrap quote" icon, a small yellow icon but it doesn't put the person who quoted above each section I break out.
It is only on the very first section.
You also have to remove the original quote brackets for the whole message before wrapping smaller individual sections.

Thanks Bill, I will give that a try. I'm learning as I go and from this forum. Ive always used the greasy crap on my tires which looks good when you apply and then as you drive off it is sling city.
The tires are my last thing to address now that I have the paint and exterior trim sealant process down. (at least understood)
My wheels were scrubbed clean, then polished with BL cleaning lotion, then coated with BL surface coating and finally waxed on top of that. They are factory painted Ford wheels.

Glass is BL coated along with bed cover top too.
Now to get the tires right.
Thanks for the advice.

Gotcha, thanks for confirming.
I assume if you want each broken quote to have the author you have to copy it from the very first quote down through the rest of the quotes like I did above in the second example?

Yes, on the 2013 FX4 you get HID headlights with black inside housing. The outer lens is actually clear its the inside shroud that makes them look darker.

Here is my 7 year old chevy I sold to switch to the Ford.
I wish I would have known about AG then as the only thing this truck saw was NXT auto zone wax once a year.

Very nice!
Chevy makes a good looking truck but so far I think my Ford drives better and is better built.
This Ecoboost twin turbo with an SCT tune would blow all my old Chevy's away and still get 30-40% better MPG.

I'm not sure the paint quality difference since I didn't jump into the AG world with both feet until I bought this Ford.
Hopefully these Ford paint jobs are decent and we can enjoy the Ruby Red glow for many years.

Ya, I really liked my Chevys, but the ford has been working out good. I will say it has more power but I am not impressed with the gas mileage. I have the stock 5.0 V-8 and I am getting around 13 around town. I was getting 15 1/2-16 in the 5.3 Chevy
