what quick detailer should I buy?

Optimum Instant Detailer and Poorboy's World Quick Detailer Plus are my favorites.

My two favorites are fk425 and prima slick. I never cared for onr for anything other than a rinseless wash. The ultima is nice too, I always seem to forget about it though...

A question to anyone with knowledge of Malco's Showroom Shine. Has anyone used it? Is it a good product? A friend gave me a gallon and I haven't tried it yet.

I like Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer and Zaino Z8 (black color)

I prefer Optimum Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer. Received a sample of FK425 but it doesn't seem to apply as well as the Optimum. May need to try it with a different sprayer. I like the thicker consistency of the Optimum.

I use 3 categories of detailers...1) ONR/Ultima Warerless wash...when I have a surface that is a bit dirtier than just a little dust, 2) Mequiar's Ultimate QD...when I have a clean surface and want some more "pop" than what #1 gives me...and finally 3) the "new" generation of super detailer/sealants that are frankly amazing....for me it's 2 products....CG Hybrid V7, and CarPro's Reload. I use these when I have a clean surface, but I want the most pop and protection I can get (almost like an LSP).

You shouldn't be using any QD to "clean" with, they are for wiping off minor dust and smudges ;)

ummm You should get the Ultima Waterless wash, DP Waterless or ONR if that's what you want.

Quick detailers I'm sure you know, is supposed to be maintenance that brings up the gloss/deep/wet look between your washes/waxes. Also they are to help with finger print smudges and dust.

I was of course asking about that cleaning ability of a QD - removing smudges, prints and light dust. I read somewhere that there are two kinds of QD - one that leans towards cleaning while the other one adds more to the look of the paint. (I guess that's the result of having too many products available.)

Dust is terrible here in our city. I also parked outside 24/7 and I noticed that people like to touch clean cars. I guess FK425 removes them well as any other QD.

Optimum Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer concentrate for savings. Love this stuff!!

For cleaning from light dust i use Meg's Last Touch dilluted 1:1, instruction mention dilluted for clay lube only but manage to use it for sometime without inducing new swirls. It's just a good economical product to use other than ONR (don't like the smell)

After a clean wash, i use FK425/Optimum Instant Detailer to add something special

I used it for many years although not recently. It is an excellent product and one of the old timers in the market that was around long before the term QD/Quick Detailer ever came about. It is also exceptional on fiberglass. Use it once and you'll be hooked as I was. I wish I knew where to buy it locally.

I use several but my favorite is Meg's M135 (Synthetic Spray Detailer)

lot of votes for fk huh. anyone have a sample they want to send? i can send sample of some stuff i have back:)
