What really grinds your gears

Depending on my mood and which car I am driving. But I would probably get back around you and brake check you pretty hard. Of course slow drivers need that regardless of what they are doing, but to cut in front of somebody and then drive slow, that calls for a little harsher punishment.

People haven't forgotten the rules, they just realized that the rules were made by idiots, many of them outdated.

Exactly. If my move is going to impact somebody else, like I am slowing down to turn into a driveway, I use them. But when I am driving down the freeway at 75 mph they serve no purpose. Nobody needs to know my intention if my move has no impact on them.

That's IF you're move has no impact, which isn't up to you to decide. Of course it won't have an impact on you. All kinds of people use the roads, as they're for common usage.

My stereotype drivers, and I've pointed them out to my family and friends who now reluctantly agree:

Arseholiest drivers: BMW and Honda Civic drivers.
Worst drivers, by a wiiiiide margin: Volvo drivers.
Most blatant scofflaws: women in minivans and SUVs in residential areas.
Most dangerous overall: young guys in beater pickups.

In metro Detroit, it's people with the big green "s" on their license plates, that went to Michigan State University. It's the strangest phenomenon. Of course anyone with a gigantic pick up, or sub - especially with the green S...

No "S" on mine, but sure beats those block M drivers! :p

GO GREEN!

They are compensating for things....

GO BLUE!

That is the worst sandwich of my dreams....Michigan State on top and Ohio State on the bottom.

The winningest college program in history will not disappoint much longer...

Yeah, U of M's football program since Lloyd Carr left has grinded the beJesus out of my gears, just not used to seeing this!

Harbough, PLEASE COME BACK:thumbup:

The program needs a reset of talent too.

I used to watch U of M games, but I stopped once then trotted Denard out, calling him a "QB".

Hopefully OSU doesn't get too embarrassed, for Big Ten sake.

Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs

Anything in life worth doing is worth over doing, moderation is for cowards

I sometimes watch Pitt. 500 teams like Pitt don't deserve a bowl game. But it is money for the school

more of a pet peeve, but if you're going to post a write-up/show & shine with pics of a detail you've done, list the process/products, etc, as some are going to ask anyways. btw, this isn't directed towards anyone in particular but just in general...

Relatives visiting for the holidays that when it's time to go to sleep the young generation giggling and arguing talking about "that's my pillow" "stop taking all the blanket" etc. And you don't want to be Scrooge so you just hope that they're parentals would say something too make them go to sleep.

That sounds like me and my wife

One of those terms like: "It's a no-brainer"...
that people think it's clever to say.

Every time I hear somebody use terms such as these:
I want to "brain" them---preferably with a sharp mattock!

Bob

When people say "I could care less" when they mean "I couldn't care less".

It must be because I've gotten older...It seems those
coffee-to-go-cups' lids are starting to grind my gears.

IMO: They need to move the "airhole" more
towards the outside edge of the lid!!

Since WG 2.0 has come up again, I have to tell you - I hate the word "shoppe". I mean, what is that? Is that supposed to be cute or quaint? Even more than "shoppe", I hate when something is called "Ye Olde ________ Shoppe". IMHO, this nomenclature should be avoided unless your "shoppe" opened in like 1810.
