What semi to full boutique wax for dark blue paint?

Okay so maybe I can run a smaller tub of the Dodo.. But I use ONRWW and Optimum spray wax as much touch ups..Are the compatible with the Dodos? I dotn want to have to buy another spray.

If durability isn't important than Pinnacle Souveran looks amazing on dark blue paint.
Here is a pic of "Pink Moose" glaze topped with Souveran on a dark blue Fusion

I have a few samples of that.

What im starting to notice. That since its a daily driver.. Maybe any wax is fine. Its not going to last long in terms of shine etc, ya know once pollen, rain, road water etc gets on the paint..

I may be better off getting something locally that isnt bad like the AutoGlym HD, as that seems to be nice.

I never really warmed up to DoDo products and I tried to love them but just couldn't :-( .. You can also try Wet obsession wax or lusso oro both are great ... Have you tried M26 yet? I revisited this product and it looks killer......

That m26 Ive seen quiet a bit.. Im kinda mentally stuck on the " for dark colors " style waxes.. Only makes sense to me.. But Im starting to think as I posted above, maybe Id be wasting money on a DD using a high dollar wax. Maybe my limit should be 40-50 bucks

M26 is great .. Check out natty blue. All the guys at my work love it and it looks awesome on dark cars... There is like 10 cars I look at everyday that look dripping wet and deep as the Atlantic ...

#26 isn't too expensive. Kind of gives that boutique look at a reasonable price. There's also Meguiar's Deep Crystal Carnauba wax. Forgot about that one.

02CAM: What Ive seen is that the paint gets contaminated fast. Pollen, spots etc with the 845 that Im using now. Hence me backing out of spending a good chunk of change on a wax. PLus the 845 application is kicking my a$$ because Im always using too much. I know I'll figure it out one day..

No Im talking about prices for the other stuff, blackICE, Fuzion etc.. I dont think that price point would be worth it for a DD.. Now Im looking at the Black wax from CG and maybe their Blacklight and V07...

I have a black Lexus. I used a coat of Pinnacle liquid Souveran and then applied regular Pinnacle Souveran. Both very easy to apply no problem with the trim and taking off is a breeze. With the amount of applications you get and the sale price I feel they are worth the money. I just picked up the spray wax on BOGO. If you can get the Pinnacle on sale they are very nice products. I also like using all the same product line since I know they are made to work together.

Yeah I have yet to see any issues with the CG black and the blacklight combo.

What I dont like is how hard the #845 wax is to remove at times. Im talking about ghosting and streaks... I know, its just too thick when applied. But still I'd like something that goes on easy and comes off easy....

How long should I wait to top the collinite 845?

I'm not sure how it can be hard to remove at times but its perfect timing to prove that its not, well from my standpoint anyways. I ONR'd my car Sat afternoon and decided to lay down a coat of DG #101 and then top it with Collinite #845 and guess what....its still on there and as I post this its almost 10 p.m. CST Sunday and its not being removed till tomorrow morning....why you may ask, well, just because, LOL! I'll report back tomorrow....stay tuned!

For darker vehicles I use CG Black Light as it enhances darker colors, and seals. Top off with CG Black Wax or CG 50/50. If cheaper is and option, CG Butter Wet looks great on dark colors as well.

I kinda wanna keep using the Opti-seal that I have on there and Im worried that the blacklight would remove or partially remove the sealant because of the fine abrasives in it..

Im thinking PSSII or CG Petes 53 or Wax Max ( no trim staining! ) and Nattys blue ( just because its "sun" friendly )

Black Light doesn't have any abrasives, it fills fine imperfections like a glaze but works great as a sealant as well. Try some Black Light as a topper to the Opti-seal, I bet it will look way more crisp.

I'm using BF Midnight Sun on my black cars and it really brings out the deep gloss and depth. It doesn't last long in full sun. I have one car that mostly been garaged the last couple weeks and my car that sits in full sun almost every day at the office. When I washed mine, I could tell that most of the wax was already gone after a couple weeks. I washed the other car today and it was still super slick (that's how I could tell most of the wax on the other car had burned off). I do have WDAFPP and CS underneath the MS, so I'm not too worried that I don't have a good seal. I just add the MS on top of the others for that extra bit of depth.

Yes it DOES have abrasives and fillers

Lol I know this goes on in EVERY thread that has Blacklight in it... someone brings that up at least once lol

For sure Dodo Juice Purple Haze Pro. It brings out the metallic like nothing else I've seen. It is awesome!
