Its a weird question but it's about that time of year when shorts will be worn and the work boots wont match the shorts LOL I wore Puma's last year but me feet where wet everyday when I got home. I hated it because my feet would stink if I let the shoes dry before I could get them off.

So what kind of shoes that look presentable when your out on a job? Im not talking about when your at home lol Thanks!

Black Crocs

In my opinion, the type of shoes you wear is not as important as the final outcome of the detail. With Crocs you can wash the car, get them wet...then before working on the interior, just take a rag and dry them off so you don't bring water inside the car. Its a choice for convenience over looks. I have not had a customer look at me strangely or question my shoes.

Nike Free's. Super comfortable, all black in case they get dirty. Then again, shorts are appropriate 360 days a year when I am working.

Why are people's feet getting so wet.

LOL Me personally I think Crocs are the most hidious things I've ever seen. Im not trying to be rude and bring anyone down I just wont wear any.

:iagree:

I just wear old sneaekers.:props:

When it's warm enough I sport the croc flip flops. Can get wet with no issues. Right now it's a little cold for flip flops so I have an old pair of running shoes I wear. They get a little wet here and there, but I throw them in the washer every couple weeks.

Carolina 4x4 waterproof version.

They're super comfortable, waterproof, have a composite safety toe, are lightweight and look something like a high top sneaker/hiking boot. I get them at SuperShoes for around $109.

I am of the age (40) where I buy more for comfort than for looks and while Carolina are a little on the pricey side they are hard to beat for comfort.

Flip Flops are my favorite I hate getting sneakers wet.

Nike Mid-Top Air Cushion Athletic Shoes

Mid-tops or high-tops for good ankle support, air cushion for reduced impact to the rest of your body...

These are my favorites, they hold up well and look good with polished aluminum...

:D

Why does this even matter? My shoes never even get wet. I usually either wear my Reeboks or my work boots. It more depends on the weather than the fact that I'm detailing.

Im not really sure how people are getting their feet so wet. IMO, as long as you don't show up to a paid job in sandals, most shoes will be fine.

I like Crocs or sandels with a that have no leather.

Hmmm I wish I was as good as you and never got my feet wet but they do.

Lol mike they do set the polished aluminum off nicely.
