I decided to inventory all my detailing stuff-Waxes, polish, pads etc. Then to make it interesting I linked each item to its website so that descriptions and application info was readily available.

I simply did a manual inventory. I put the results into a spread sheet with each tab containing a product function (degreasers, waxes, wheels, tires, 5.5" pads, etc). The longest part of job was creating links for each product to its website and to the various "how to" articles I had collected. The result was that each tab contained a bunch of products with links to all the relevant information for each product.Good Idea.
Do you just put each product in it's own folder on your "C" drive? How are you inventorying them?
