Sorry for the late reply, I was busy with SEMA for over a week.
Hi Mike, Its me agine Soctt aka (Pork Chop). Ok I just got my new PC 7426XP and now Im cleaning out ALL my old waxes and I want to narrow it down to one product.
Lets take a look...
I have Meguiars Clay Kit ( that I told you about befor and I scrached my hood and was afraied to use),
Meguiar's Consumer Clay is a Fine Grade and a great product. I like it because it's white and this easily shows you the color, (if any), of the contaminants you're removing better than colored waxes. Especially when you find overspray paint on your car.
I recommend always plan on doing at least ONE machine polishing step after claying to remove any clay haze or marring and to perfect the paint for application of a wax, sealant or coating.
I have Turtle Wax liquid clay bar (Ice) works ok,
Never used it. You really only need one product to use for mechanically removing above surface bonded contaminants. Since you have Meguiar's Clay Kit, use up the Turtle Wax and then let her go...
Then I have 3Ms Imperial hand glaze I also used by hand.
This is a completely non-abrasive product used to make the paint look glossy. Been around a L-O-N-G time...
In order to choose the BEST product, you first have to determine,
What are the issues you want to correct with your car's paint? (if any)
What's your goal? Show car finish? Or just maintain your transportation investment.
So...
Are there any problems with the paint?
If so, what is your goal?
See page 37 of my how-to book...
