So I am trying to design my future company's logo (I'm bored and haven't gotten my order to clean my car on this beautiful day). When you think of a detailer tool, what comes to mind?

The DA comes to my mind, microfiber as well, neither of which would make a great logo.

A passion for detailing, a polisher , microfiber and quality products all comes yo my mind

Your eyes. I have looked at paint on cars that was terrible and the person standing next to me will say "It' looks fine to me". A detailer is only as good as his eyes like an artist or a surgeon.

Bottle opener, to pop the top off a bottle of beer.:buffing:

Steamer. A majority of your work will be interiors.

Da, Microfibers, and strong arms since you feel like your did a workout after detailing your car

Tricky question, some answered more than one 'Tool'...

Clay / nanoskin is something I believe is critical,

but so is polishing afterwards with a good polisher, polishes, pads and quality MF to wipe off residue.

Then, LSP will be critical this time.

Like washing 'gadgets' were critical before the claying I've cited first.

Nice to hear input from others, great thread you started.

Kind Regards.

I believe a water hose is pretty important, although others may not agree.

Eyeballs to see the results

I have to agree with "your eyes" and add to that the brain.

My paying attention to what Mike has said (and many others) it's almost impossible to go wrong. My brain never stops learning on here.

Plus it has learned to tell my wallet "this won't hurt a bit"

That is such a hard question to answer. There are so many aspects to this profession and all of them seems important to me. But if I really had to choose a single item, I guess for me it would be a micro fiber towel. Without it I can't clean, nor can I finish the polishing steps. With microfiber you can clean the interior with simple water, in a bind it can replace a wash mitt, it's like a miracle tool.

I am not sure it would make such a great items for a logo though...
