What Type Creeper Stools Do You Use?

i bought one of these..then took it back...i got it from big lots for a little cheaper but its the SAME stool...was just too small for me..didnt seem very stable...just my opinion...and also im 6'3 so a little bitty stool like that didn't go too well with me :-

Yep, that's the same one Walmart sells only a different brand name on it. Very precarious, you can easily tip over if you hit the smallest pebble. The wheels are hard and don't last very long either.

I just emailed Kreepstool to purchase new casters, so i might save some$$$. I was even thinking of powder coating the stool to a custom color.... Here I go with another project.

Like I said in my post, I was thinking about getting it, but after hearing your problems, I will stay away from it, as I'm 6'2". I like a good deal, but I want to be able to use it.
Thanks for the heads up:xyxthumbs:

Yeah you'd be better off spendin a little more and saving a headache...im gonna get the work platform from Home Depot...dual purpose...seat and mini ladder in one :). Its pretty high off the ground so should work good for most of the panel and for the lowest part ill do what ive always done....sit my butt on the ground :)

I use the craftsman mechanics seat from sears. Really durable and good for the money, it also comes with locking wheels and plastic inserts incase u what to be organized

The kreepstool is HUGE IMO...
Very hard to move around too...
Super uncomfortable... i regret buying mine...
It feels like it wont go to the direction u want it to....

I use a Mac Tools roller stool and floor creeper that I bought over 25 years ago. Both are still going strong...neither has ever given a problem.
