Per Meguiar's ColorX (G118) MSDS:

-Kaolin...CAS#1332-58-7
Synonyms: Aluminum Silicate; Kaolinite; Aluminum Oxide;
Silicon Dioxide; Calcined Kaolin

-Hydrtreated Distillates..........CAS#64742-46-7
-Isoparaffinic Hydrocarbons...CAS#64742-48-9

•Uses for the above components are easily googled by using their CAS#s, if so desired.
•Many products have abrasives that are "silicate" by nature.

-It's the di-oxide of the chemical element Silicon.
-Symbol: SiO2
-Naturally occurs (and rather abundantly) in:
sandstone, sand, and quartz.

Thanks, Bob! In layman terms, I interpret (without looking for definitions), that there is both abrasive, and chemical cleaning agents in colorx.
