Yes, I hope our friend here gets this all sorted out as he seems to be a decent detailer.
I hate customers that try and take advantage of good detailers.
Update : Tried calling guy today at his work - left name and number to call me back.... he never called back, but I did notice he checked out the website again today. Not a big fan of the waiting game. Such a simple thing making such a stressful situation for me, CRAZY!
Next time you are servicing your client that is close by to him I would suggest doing the obvious which is confront him about it and see what the deal is......
This may sound a bit goofy but try and find the car, walk past it and tie your shoe and see if the seat is normal. Although you may see it from far away with your eyes or binoculars. LOL.
I didn't know there was any other ninjas in the US besides me! Nice to meet another one, do u have the ultra stealth shoes also or just the semi stealth? It helps alot in those cat like maneuvers! Lolol gl with this dude, if he gives u any problems chop him in the neck and run for it! Lol
LOL - I actually read something in Business Weekly where chopping people in the neck actually leans more towards the side of bad Customer Service. :bolt:
Boy are you wrong. You have the car so it your fault. You would pull the tipical cop- out of the type of people if would never recommend or deal with.
I think you're wrong on this one. There's nothing wrong with getting the problem checked out. Just cause a seat fails to operate correctly...doesn't mean the detailer is responsible. That is why you get it looked at, get a diagnosis of the problem.
According to you, if the water pump failed while it was in the detailers possession...it's his fault? That makes no sense. Mechanical, or electronic failure is not something caused by the correct steps taken to detail a vehicle.
After reading your other posts. It just seems to me like you may be a disgruntled customer who may have been "had" more than a couple times. Now because of those couple instances...you're always gonna be jaded. It's people that have your type of thinking...that would make us think twice about even accepting your vehicle for a detail in the first place.
If I had to guess...you jump at the chance to drag someone into court. You'll say you don't...but your posts say otherwise. IMO of course.

Newest Update guys :
Went to service some of the fleet today - he was not there but his coworker (the $65 - 2 step polish guy lol) said that his wife actually jiggled around in the seat and fixed it...... so he said he was cool about it. I am relieved and exhausted at the same time. The last issue I had was like 5 years ago when one of my employees passed out while on the wing of an aircraft, fell and scratched the leading edge. Fortunately I was able to fix the scratch and the girl was ok - scared the CRAP out of me! So even though this was a minor issue (the seat issue) it is the first issue in a long time - so nerve racked me. Maybe I am super lucky?!?!?! Well, thanx for all your responses - helps me for future similar situations guys as well for others that read this thread.
