what's a good shampoo for foam gun?

Bought the foam cannon from AG... Which I'm pretty sure is the MTM but branded for their use. Run it on a Karcher PW - just a small electric with 1600psi... Nothing too strong

Dp xtrerme is my favourite foam!

I also used meguairs hyper wash which is also awesome.

What if we don't care about foam and suds (which are superficial) and just want an effective presoak wash for a foam gun?

Auto Finesse Avalanche would be considered a good pre-soak.

Once I fitted my suction draught tube to my foam cannon, I've had great success with almost any shampoo.
*Dodo Juice Born to be Mild
*CG Honeydew
*CG Maxi Suds

Not my favorite for the foam cannon, but I used it last weekend... 1Z Einszett Exclusiv. No real reason that I don't like it, I suppose, maybe it's the smell (?)

Any suggestions on a strong paint cleanser to use in a foam gun? Suds don't matter so much to me. I'm looking for something that will remove dirt and grime.

Bilt Hamber Autofoam is the best pre-soak I've used as far as removing dirt. However, it must be used with a foam cannon. I wash my daily driver weekly(in socal where it doesn't rain) with BH Autofoam through my cannon, and I don't have to bring out the buckets. Foam, rinse, done. Leaves no dirt on the surface prior to drying.

Wouldn't the Dodo Juice work out to be very expensive?

I like maxi suds 2, its very cheap and use a bathroom cup marked at 3 oz and you are in business

I have used both Citrus Wash and Mr. Pink and really like them both in my gun.

When filling the Gilmore gun, how much soap do you use to fill the bottle up with?

I use Citrus Clear Wash all the time, both in the Gilmore gun and for my regular wash. It is very versatile and not expensive in gallon jugs. It cleans well and foams to no end. Clear may not be the slickest soap around but it is slick enough for me. I use 2oz. per gallon of water to strip LSP; 1oz per three gallons of water for maintenance wash and 3oz. in the Gilmore foam gun (middle setting). I fill the gun about 3/4 of the way to the top with water and then add the shampoo. Works every time to produce good suds.
