Now I know why that Boeing aircraft, that was developed originally for the Australian Air Force, is called the Wedgetail.

I regularly see the aircraft flying here as well, one time it was following about 10 minutes behind an Antonov transport, doing some signals and radar signature intelligence gathering I guess.

Spotted a Wedge Tailed Eagle walking the dogs this morning, it's hard to get good shots with the phone, especially against an overcast sky.

We have a breeding pair in the Spreyton area, and if you're lucky you will see them up close...like land on the roof close.

Not exactly in my backyard, but it certainly sounded like it. I heard something flying low overhead, which isn't unusual, but this sounded bigger than normal. I couldn't see them because of low clouds, but the Marines are here. I wonder if there's some Marine Corps F-35s here as well, training with our guys.

Found this in my front yard actually. The web is stretched 5 metres between a tree and the front of our house, conveniently high enough that no one will walk through it, unless they walk on my lawn, then they get what they deserve. It's a Garden Orb Weaver.

This fox usually ends up on one of my cameras about every 2 weeks. This morning I looked out the window and there it was. Not a very good picture, but still cool.
