what's one product that has impressed you (lately)?

Foreword:
The following incident happened this past
Saturday while attending a local charity
Car Show.

•I was using one of my favorite "window
cleaners":Sprayway 050...to spruce-up
the chrome wheels on the vehicles.

•All of a sudden, my attention-to-detail
was interrupted by a guy that asked me,
in a rather booming voice:
- "What are you doing spraying window
cleaner on those chrome wheels!!
Are you nuts?
Drunk on your @$$, or something"?!?!

•I responded by politely asking him if he
would care to take a gander at the wheels
that I had just finished and give me some
honest feedback.

- "Wow...I'm impressed"...
were the words he uttered.
-(Of course I agree.)

•As he turned to walk away I said:
- 'Now about me being drunk on
my @$$, or something'...

- 'To tell you the truth, Sprayway does
contain a rather impressive amount of
Ethyl Alcohol: ~10%'.

- 'Would you like to have a slug of it'?

McKee's 37 Wheel Coating - I can't say enough good things about this product. This product is extremely easy to work with and gives your wheels a beautiful shine with long lasting protection. McKee's 37 Wheel Coating, wheel wax, wheel sealant, brake dust repellent

McKee's 37 Gloss Tire Gel - I've always enjoyed working with the Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel when dressing tires. I needed to wash my truck last week and wanted to test a different tire product. I grabbed a sample bottle of the new McKee's 37 Gloss Tire Gel and applied it to my Toyo tires. I really enjoyed working with this new tire gel and my tires looked awesome. McKee's 37 Gloss Tire Gel penetrates deep below the surface to hydrate and refresh dull, dry rubber.

Vinylex Marine & RV Protectant - This is the only product I use now on my Truxedo LoPro Tonneau Cover. I always used the 303 Aerospace Protectant in the past. I've also tried plenty of other brands but nothing has looked as good or lasted for so long as the Vinylex Marine. I also like using this product for protecting all of the rubber seals on my truck. Vinylex Marine & RV Protectant, vinyl protectant, plastic protectant

Mmm, Sprayway and cranberry juice. It's good for the soul.

I was surprised by Meguiars solo cut and how well this compound cleared yellow headlights

Even though they are made from EPS
(high density expanded polystyrene foam);
and, sprayed with a "hybrid polyurea Coating"...
which improves their strength/makes the ramps
impervious to all automotive chemicals...

Race Ramps' products have a load capacity
rating that is extremely impressive!

Here's a little test, that attests
to that fact:

To say the least:
that's why I have no qualms,
ever, about using mine...

D300 finishes pretty awesome on microfiber, on foam it finishes even better.

D300 is a elite compound till this day, its a really nice compound thats easy to work with and gets the job done.

Try it on on foam you'll love it!
I've found D300 on MF to finish with a lot of marring on some paints using *long throw* polishers. It was designed with a small throw in mind. However, it's a nice product to work with.

I use Sprayway for all kinds of things. Dash and other interior trim, wheels, stains in carpet and seats. Done it for 20 years and have never had a problem on anything. Really underrated product IMO.

Greetings All,

As my Benz E550 has been sitting in the garage covered for the past 9 months I would like to mention 1 product that I'm very impressed with. 9 months ago I had my car detailed by Mike & Layna at The Shine Shop in Maryland. They are good people and did a fantastic job detailing my car. I was sick when I took them the car and didn't find out just how sick I was until a couple of weeks later after they detailed my car. I've been recovering from my third bout of cancer in 6 years. This cancer so rare only 200 cases reported in the world ---- Carcinoma Plasmatoid.

This past weekend for the first time in about 9 months I was able to take my car out and enjoy. After driving the car Saturday and Sunday I was shocked at how little dust and dirt accumulated on the car. To begin with when I first picked up the car from Mike and Layna 9 months ago I was amazed with the depth of shine. Turned out they used Kamikaze ISM coating and it was apparent they knew how to properly prep the paint. Good people, top notch workmanship and a very affordable price.

This was my first coating since I have always been a wax guy. I don't know how other coatings perform however I can say the ISM is amazing. Life is good today. Had a great time cruising and if you never drove an E550 its an animal. GOD is so very real. GOD is taking very good care of me and my family and through Christ in what some may see as troubling times I have never been happier, had this much peace, contentment and joy.

Ray

Ray, you must be a spiritually strong father and husband. God will test us physically, emotionally, and spirituality. You somewhat mirror Job in that he was allowed by God to be afflicted. God only gives us what we can handle. You are strong in Christ Jesus

God bless you my friend.

Buster, I surely do appreciate the kind words. Our Lord and Savior is taking very good care of me. No worries. I so appreciate being able to cruise in my car again.

I'm anxiously waiting for the 4th of July sale to kick off so I can add some of these impressive products to my cabinet.

Ray, it's good that you can enjoy your car. It's important to have some enjoyable stress relief, even in the best of health. If you haven't sent a letter to that detailing shop with your glowing review, I'm sure they'd appreciate the effort.

Since we're already OT, I'll add that your car will be much happier if it doesn't sit in a garage for months at a time. Unless it's prepped for long term storage, I wouldn't let more than a month pass between an hour on the road. If you don't feel well enough to drive, I'm sure someone else would love to take that car for a spin with you.
