I've been trying many different one step cleaner/polishes trying to find the best one. I like XMT 360 the best except for the fragrance that's added. The bees like to much. Very annoying. I would really like to hear everyone's comments on what they think is the best!

I'm very pleased with XMT 360. Never noticed any bees around. Going to polish the wifes DD with it today.

My vote goes to DG 105 or if you need a little more cut, DG 501. You can extend durability by applying over DG 601.

Every time this thread comes up my answer is: D151. However the cherry scent might attract insects as well . . .

I have only used KAIO, PoliSeal, and XMT 360. They are all good products but I generally prefer the XMT 360.

My vote would be KAIO, Duragloss and Collinite products. They all are good and priced to fit any budget. Each has a specific quality and benefit. It all depends on your needs.

I've personally used 1-4 with great success but 5 and 6 have a big following so I'm sure that they are superb performers as well.

You can't go wrong with any of these...

  1. Menzerna Sealing Wax APO 60
  2. Klasse All In One Polish
  3. Finish Kare 215 One Step
  4. Meguiar's D151
  5. Pinnacle XMT 360
  6. Duragloss 105

For me, it's a tie between Klasse & XMT. Both have performed well for me.

To me there is no best. I pick my polish based on the condition of the car and what the customer wants. For light correction work I use XMT 360, poli-seal and/or FK215. For moderate correction, I use DJ need for speed or Megs D151. For paint in good condition I use a chemical cleaner like DG 501, Megs M20, AG super resin polish and/or JW Prime Strong.

I like Meguiars M66 Quick Detailer. It has some good cut, works in the sun and is dirt cheap compared to other products.

I use D151, XMT360 and I just tried Zaino AIO and was pretty impressed

I like Dodo NFS a lot but it's a bit expensive. I want to try the opt tho as it's price point is very reasonable.

^^ +1

I just tried D151 today for the first time. The test vehicle was my black Dodge Charger company car. The swirls were a level 5 out of 10. I used the Flex 3401 with an orange pad. I must say that I was very impressed. It didn't touch the rids but the swirls were tackled easily. For the price I like it for production work or when a full correction is not possible. I would place it between 105 and 205 in grit. It did dust a bit though but the gloss was pretty darned sweet.

Zaino - and it lasts forever.

Not in Australia it doesn't!

If you are after a conventional AIO, I have found Optimum PoliSeal fantastic, Klasse and then XMT in that order.

I have switched over totally to Liquid Glass personally and couldn't be happier.

I've tried many one step products. I've settled on one, and it's my go to product just about every single day at my shop. Unfortunately, you can't buy it at Autogeek. But, it's worth mentioning anyways. It's by Malco, and it's called Glaze II. Love it.

Strange thing about it, is that you have to know how to use it. The directions on the back are pretty much useless to me. I spread it on to the whole vehicle (after clay of course). Then, let it dry and buff it off. I use a Makita, and let the pad rip at about 2500 rpm. Sounds crazy, but you wouldn't believe how simple it is to get fantastic one step results with this method. No swirls, no holograms, just a nice clean finish. It does about 50% paint correction in the process (mainly because of the rotary).

With a quick coat of wax on top of that, it really looks good. You do need some rotary skills to pull this off. But if you can move quick with a rotary, you're literally done in 20 minutes...and that's including applying the product. I've never seen a product that allows this quick of a machine buff, and still get great results. :dblthumb2:
