Whats the best microfiber out there?

I got those and those are the ones I have problems with..

What problems?

Wash: MF Soap (Various Brands all do fine, some have said Tide/ All Free & Clear will do well)

I wash them in HOT water (below 140F) and add ~ 2TBSP of Distilled Vinegar to the Final Rinse (2 Rinses) for each towel. No dryer....I just "twap them" a couple times out of the washer then air dry.

I use some "Lesser Quality" MF's for the nasty jobs, so the higher quality MF's don't get all that dirty.

For stains, I'll soak them in a 5 Gallon bucket that has ~ 1 ounce of powder Oxy Clean Free for a few hours. Note: I make sure the Oxy Clean Powder is completely dissolved before tossing the towels in; Then follow procedure above.

Not familiar with "single soft" towels term...are you referring to getting your hands on some decent bulk towels? If so, the yellow ones from Sam's are great. A lot of people here love the rolled-edge towels or you can try the new color-coded towels here on AG.

No there's a towel called the Single Soft, it's made by a company with a man's name. They sell them 1, or 2 pack only. I want about 10 more but I'm too cheap, I'm guessing like all MF's they don't actually make them. And there's probably the same towel elsewhere for cheaper.

My MF feel rough with every wash, and I've only washed my MF like 3 times. They also pick up lint and leave it on my car when I'm drying/buffing/etc.

I know the water in my apartment is very hard so I'm guessing that is the culprit. The towels are just absorbing the minerals?

So hot water is okay to use? I thought it wasn't so I've been doing cold washes.

Best is subjective and price needs to be a consideration as well IMO. I have various towels for certain duties and I typically buy in bulk from a towel wholesaler to save on cost.

The microfiber madness are nice, but very pricey. If money wasn't a concern I really love these new drying towels. I bit the bullet and picked up 2 of them when I was in Seattle. By far my new favorite drying towels, but price really needs to come down, at least more in line with Microfiber Madness. Griot's PFM Drying towel...unfortunately on back order right now.

I will say TRC sells a towel that looks identical to some of the ones found on Auto Geek-- they are NOT the same. The TRC version is acceptable, but the AG towel is very noticeably a better product, and IMO, worth the extra cost.

I would still prefer the Dry Me Crazy towel over that. The Dry Me Crazy towel's smaller size is one of my favorite things about it.

Yeah, that's where it comes down to user preference. The Dry Me Crazy worked well but I wished it was larger. :)

I had problems with TRC towels, the edgeless fleece type, they lint a lot.
I heard they have a nice customer support, I emailed them twice about the linting/bad batch, they didn't even bothered to reply to me.
I don't know, maybe because I'm a foreigner, not an American. But I paid in American Dollars though.

I will quote me, :-) , because I forgot to mention it, this is why I always buy from AG, excellent customer service, fast, friendly and polite, they just treat you right, don't matter where you come from. I should've bought wolfgang's mf towels from AG instead.

I was contacted by the owner of TRG herself, and they are replacing my towels. It seems my emails got lost in the spam folder, which I accept it.
Therefore, my public apologies to TRC, and I'm sorry for jumping into negative conclusions about the company.
A smart person tries to correct his mistakes as soon as he realizes he did it.

Looking to get some really good microfiber towels
to use exclusively on my black Z. Thanks
"to use exclusively",
on your Black Z?
How about some of "Z's"
Blonde Borderfree(s).

I got some towels from Target I believe. "MyRide" towels. They were orange and green and they are pretty decent for interiors and I have used them to remove wax and polish with no problem. Also has anyone used TRC spectrum 420 towels? I'm wondering if they are any good.

I got a Spectrum as a free sample with my last order. Great towel for the price.

Would you say they could be used as a rinse less wash ?

They could but I prefer the Eagles because they have deeper pile and edgeless. The Spectrums have a shorter pile on one side and the edges are satin which isn't bad but probably won't pick up dirt and drag it around instead. BTW they had a great sale on those last month 5 for $10.
