Whats the best microfiber out there?

Good afternoon,

I couldn't browse for all suggestions in this thread, sorry if already recommended,

My must-have towel recommendation is

Woobie Microfiber Towel, 3-Pack, buffing towel, edgeless polishing cloth

Considerations, being it's small size I run at least 3-6 towels (or more) when polishing entire cars because I prefer to work clean and not overuse/stress my work material. Put them on washer after use with quality soap, rinse well, dry on low or hang and it'll look and feel brand new for years to come.

*Store on a clean, closed box (like transparent plastic) and avoid hanging it ever over dirty, risking to lose credibility of your towel.

Fact is I still see an use for 'Gold Plush' style towels because of their differential nap useful for virtually any task, and even with their edges I barely had any problem with them, use and like. They must be on pair with the best 'withedges' microfiber towels ;)

Hope that helps,

Kind Regards.

I would also consider at least 3 wolfgang concours, sold here at AG, for removing polisher residues exclusively

They are quite pricey, but they are bigger in size, and won't lint.

Which is why I'll always go with the heavier towel from MFT @ 3/20.13.... or even 3 blue ones from TRC that are the same weight as the WG @ 3/20.85. ;) (That price gets even better with 6 when they are 37.98~40.50 respectively.)

I just miss the 'old' days back in 2014 when you could pick up these 500gsm Korean towels for a couple bucks..... where now they are closer to $4. Competition, the ever growing influx of detailing fans, detailing sites, detailing suppliers have driven those prices up substantially however. :dunno:

Sorry but IMHO no towel is worth almost $10 each. I would rather use more cheaper (paint safe) towels than less more expensive towels.
