When using the rinseless sponges I use up ONR in rinse bucket as I do feel it does most thorough job of bringing contamination to bottom.

As I mentioned to his thread I like a little ONR in rinse bucket because of all those dirt in jar video it does the best at pulling contaminants down.

Probably why they mention. Plus we use up more product to buy more sooner.

Gotta feed the machine.

I appreciate Brian taking one for the time. There’s no way this stuff will enter my arsenal. By the time the pods are fully dissolved I would be halfway done with the wash using my current method of utilizing proportioner bottles. How hard is it to measure soap?

Measuring, tinkering with ratios, and playing mad scientist with the stuff we use has always been a part of the allure of detailing to me

For some people like the "all business, all the time" and "it says add 2 glugs, I will add 3" folks it could be a time or money saver in the long run

It's not anything I personally would buy, but it will be interesting to see how long they stick around or if someone else clones them

I never saw the quote from Yvan that Chilly posted; I started doing it a lot earlier than 2018. I had always used a single bucket to wash cars, but when I came to detailing forums 20 years ago, I pretty quickly switched to a foam gun and a rinse bucket with a grit guard. Later, when I started to do rinseless washes, after all the years of using a rinse bucket for conventional, I just couldn't do the single bucket, and put my wash media back into that dirty water, so I started to use a solution bucket and a rinse bucket with a grit guard. Because of my initial skittishness with rinseless, I decided it was safer to put some wash into the rinse bucket (about 1/4 the concentration as the wash bucket), so as not to dilute the wash solution so much. (since I usually use MF wash pads that have a sponge in them, there's more potential to bring rinse water back to the wash bucket)
