What's the opposite of a "Chick Car"?

when borrowing my truck my wife was asked....... aren't you embarassed to be driving that around? it was due to the obnoxious 40 series Flowmaster exhaust. i think that question takes it out of the chic car category

Reminds me of my old 08 Ram 4.7. Flowmaster 40's with a 3 inch turn down.... That thing screamed.

I bet most chicks also hate diesel when the exhaust are on the side emitting black or white smoke, later they learn that diesel burns cleaner and you sometimes get better mileage

I am a little biased, but I think the CTS-V is anti-chick. My wife won't even drive mine, it scares her. It's not a chick car but it does have a girl name. :)

Anyone who has driven a V hard will agree. Heres my nomination!

I've rode in one only once. Scared the crap out of me when the rears broke loose at 90 and we got sideways.

That's what I said about my future wife when I met her! :) She was driving a 67 GTO, followed that with a 73 Camaro. Seemed fast then, loud pipes, big honking cams, tire boiling burnouts, but would only turn 14's in the quarter. (at best) Times.... 0~60 in the what, 7+ second range, top speed (if you were lucky) maybe 135, and THAT WAS SCARY AS HE!!. These days, heck, a V6 G35 is faster, and will out corner anything we ever had back in the "big-n-wolly" days.

All this talk about chics and anti-chic cars...

"Honking cams" and 73' Camaro....did it have some experimental engine from Zora Arkus Duntov? Yeah those "muscle cars" back then really weren't that fast, even your HEMI Cuda's would turn 13's to high 12's, hell my 87' GN did that with bolt ons and stock/tired engine and trans w/100k+!

Yeah, 135 on those type of tires and suspension back in the day must've been scary for sure! Oh yeah, just splitting hairs on the "honking cam(s) wording and thought it was funny.

Now that video brought back some great memories! Can you imagine what those cars are worth today?

If I'm not mistaken both those cars were automatics. I wasn't sure until the 2nd half as they came out of the shoot. I could hear the rpm's come up a little and could see a little body's raise until they left the line.
