Soggy dripping towels seem unnecessary when cleaning a properly maintained vehicle. Give me three 16"x16" towels and my spray bottle and it gets no easier + no swirls.
Aha! A perfect opportunity for me to make a suggestion: Damp towels for waterless.
I've found this to be much better than using dry towels doing waterless. More lubricity because of dampness and wipes away cleaner (as in picking up more liquid) per pass.
Wrung out using distilled or tap is okay, but from D114/Uber/UWW+ or other rinseless solution of your choice works best.
Sometimes you just don't want to deal with buckets or can't, so a set of damp towels in a ziploc + waterless sprayer is damn handy.
