Not to be a jerk, but doesn't you posting a pic of you operating on a patient in the operating room violate some code of ethics? I mean with people being fired for tweets and face book posts, it seems irresponsible, that's all.

Why is it irresponsible? He's not taking the picture.

Retired Contract Specialist for the U.S. Air Force/federal government. Got into detailing after buying my 2013 Honda Accord (Sport). It gives me something to do plus it gives me that Zen relaxation from stress/pain. Had no idea how in depth the industry was until I googled "auto detailing" and I was hooked.

How do you know that is a patient? Can you see anything that resembles a person? a particular body part? any identifying tattoos or something that has name/DOB/ SSN (all protected info). The answer is no. People get fired for posting pics or tweeting b/c (1) they are doing that instead of focusing on patient care (2) they post something that contains protected information i.e. DOB/name/ or face of patient or something else that could identify the patient and thus breach confidentiality. None of that is present in this pic. Again, this could very well be from an animal lab where I teaching microsurgery. Please have a clue before you accuse someone of being irresponsible. That's not an accusation to throw around lightly.
