Whats your favorite car shampoo?

Ultima Shampoo and Dodo Juice Born to be Mild are my two favorites. Griots is also a good one that doesn't cost a ton of money.

Indeed! Where you been at man?! I still didn't forget about you. I still have that Lexus that we can work on.

Hey buddy! I've just been super busy. I've been doing a ton of details lately, we are filming a bunch of segments for a tv show doing instructional stuff for detailing, and working on some other cool stuff. I haven't forgotten either! I'm sure we will be able to get together in the next few weeks.

Sounds like you been having some fun...jealous! Thats whats up man. I'll hit you up soon. Good to see you back!

So BTBM... what do you guys dilute too. It is the same price for 16oz as 32oz of poorboys. Poorboys dilutes 1 ounce to 2 gallons.

So if this stuff dilutes less it is cost effective

I use about 1 oz in my 5 gallon bucket. Some say that it doesn't sud up as much as they'd like but I feel it does. I fill the bucket 3/4 of the way with water using just the regular hose. I measure out 1 oz of BTBM and then I hit it with a strong blast of water until the suds reach the top. I'll "refresh" the suds with my pressure washer, while washing the car. No need to add more shampoo.

It keeps changing. Currently my favorite is PB SS&S (peaches).

BTBM has a great dilution ratio, can't think of it off the top of my head but its only like 1oz for 3-4 gallons. It is super slick and a joy to wash with.

BTBM dilutes to 1:800, vs the 1:256 for the Poorboys. So you'll get more wash solution (over 50% more) out of the 16oz BTBM vs the 32oz Poorboys :xyxthumbs:

Cleaning ability??? Have they updated the formula?

I like the Pinnacle cleaning ability based on tests against Zymol and Swissvax. I never really let the car getting dirty that's why I'm satisfied with Pinnacle. Swissvax is better but very expensive (although it requires less per gallon) and doesn't clean much while I feel Zymol doesn't do anything.

My favorite is the Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo but I mostly use the Detailer's Pro Series Auto Bath Shampoo due to the cost and size.

Pinnacle XMT!! Best I've ever used. Pinnacle BodyWork is good stuff also, but waaaaaay overpriced. It's literally twice the price of the XMT line, but no where near twice the product. I'd say they are on darn near on par with each other, with my vote going to the XMT regardless of price.

Anybody ever try the new Meg's Ultimate Wash? I seen it at walmart a few weeks ago but didn't pick it up.

Optimum No Rinse. Even though it is not a shampoo. But I really like CG Citrus wash and gloss, and Citrus wash daily

If you have hard water, IMO its tough to beat NXT. DG901 just doesn't seem slick enough unless I use a ton of it. Optimum is nice, but its not any better than NXT and costs nearly double.

My favorite way to wash is with ONR, but my favorite shampoo has to be Dodo Juice Supernatural
