You can if you want, its not necessary though. You can do whatever you want with maxwax and it just works.

AG HD has more protection, but maxwax is such a pleasure to use.

Is MaxWax easy on easy off? Or do you have to let it haze?

Your car is metallic, use maxwax. AGHD darkens paint so it may not make the flakes stand out as much.

I'm thinking about using AGHD for winter over top of my sealant because my paint isn't corrected yet, and I want to save the max wax for when I get to correct it in the spring. I already have stuff ready to correct it. Just gotta get through this cold weather....

Ditto here - I have the same thoughts. Putting down a good coat of sealant followed by the wax.
