What's your occupation?

Right now I'm at AG obviously, but next month I will be starting the police academy full time. I'm super excited to take this next step in my life, but don't worry, I'll still be posting here. :D

Don't do it Matt!! Kidding from a career law enforcement officer. I am currently the public information officer (Sgt) at my Sheriff's Office. What can I say...the camera loves me. I also have a part time detailing business that allows me to have a slush fund for airplane gas.

Good luck Matt and let me know if you have any questions. Hopefully you can find a home at MCSO. Great agency.

I used to drive a Scoop for a Pulp Mill, basically push wood chips as fast as you can to stay ahead of the Chip Trucks. It was a blast!

We made liner paper for just about everything... it was a real hard, blue collar job but I loved that job. I was actually the first disabled person they brought "into" the Mill. Usually people became disabled and then left the Mill. While I worked there at least one guy died in an accident and the average I think was a death every 2 years. Kind of a dangerous job if you don't follow the safety rules.

Left that job when Barry Meguiar called me and offered me a job as a writer for his company, I was driving my Milk Truck when he made that call, I was so surprised I had to pull over to focus on the call. I'll never forget it.

:)
We purchase our rolls from IP, GP, Texarkana and some other company I couldn't even spell with a dictionary. It's very hard work and the danger is real! we lost someone about three years ago, and it was a major wake up call. You're right on the button about following safety rules, if you don't follow them your asking for trouble..
I really do like my job, it's rewarding to see fruits of your labor, but since I've been detailing it's kinda pulling me if that direction. If my business doubles this time next year I'll probably go full time. Anyhow Cheers Mr. Phillips thanks for all the advise you share, and look forward to see what the new year bring!

I'm a dispatcher for Montreal city Subway, just like Denzel Washington in The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 :)

I've got my J.D., although if I was smart, I would have gotten my M.D. :bash:
