what's your weather currently like?

I even got confirmation from a higher power the other day that I made the right decision

How can I argue with that

When did Panda Express become a Higher Power??

Not bad. This was the view from our room when we stayed in Glacier National Park a few weeks ago.

Up here we call that early snow on the mountains “termination dust” and every morning it’s a bit lower

This condo sits in the town of Girdwood, and more specifically at the foot of Alyeska Ski Resort

It’s billed as the only ski resort in North America that sits at sea level

The base is actually sitting at 250 feet elevation but still…

Normal snowfall on the mountain is in the 650 inches range with an all time high of 950+ inches a few years back

We will be moving back into the actual city of Anchorage on October 14th so we will be gone before there is very much snow accumulation here

As soon as we get to the B&B in Anchorage it will be almost time to get the winter wheel sets for both cars out and switched over

I usually switch over around November 1st

Hey, Mike........

Are you guys getting any effects from that post-typhoon moving in from the west?

Hey Paul

The western coast is getting hit for sure but it doesn’t appear to bad at the moment

It’s been raining here for several weeks so it’s hard to tell just where this is coming from

I rarely (almost never) watch news or weather but I did read an article in the Anchorage Daily News yesterday about the storm

They were calling for 10-15 foot storm surges over normal high tide

Not sure how accurate that is

Thanks for thinking of me
