I don't get why they dump all this salt on the roads now.

Used to be a salt/sand mix that worked perfectly.

Way to cut 5 years off of the life of the cars & trucks. :/
 
Last week it was freezing -20 with the wind during the night, today its 32 and snowing. Thursday is suppose to be low 50's with rain. Michigan weather!

Some parts over there have been a bit toasty though huh? I see it was 47c in parts of Sydney a few days ago. :wow:

Yeah Fark that, way to hot! Tasmania and NZ have pretty much the same weather in most parts of course, you have the wine we have the apples and cherrys. But the UV is like 15 xtream here.
 
After a couple o' dayz in the low-mid 30's-the bottom is blowing out again. As of 0700 - 7°F (-14°C) along with 49MPH(!) wind gust. Add a tiny bit of snow...just damn cold.

BUT, compared with what the devastation folks are going thru in SoCal (the flooding/rain) this is but a short lived inconvenience that will change and be 'nice' in another week or so.
