Fortunately I haven’t had to deal with that sort of cold for 10 years or so. But I did learn that GM vehicles stop telling you the outside temp when it get past -50. The mirror or the screen will just blink -50. My condolences to all of you poor folks dealing with those temps.

Got an ONR wash, Ultimate Polish / Ultimate Liquid Wax on the gf's truck this afternoon.

Wasn't too bad in the garage with the heater on. Didn't need a sweater, but I also never stopped moving!

Heat wave coming into work this morning, 11 degree warm up from yesterday. -11 with a feels like of -25. Ready to break out the shorts!

From the drive in this morning. Forecast for Sunday is a 72° temp swing to 42°F with rain. By Tuesday it’s 18° and a few inches of snow, Thursday back down to -4°

The Mrs’ car will be getting a bath on Sunday, rain be danged.

Might try to just BOSS foam/blow dry mine Monday morning in the shop at work and call it better than it was...

It's all about layers.

Hardest part is for the pups - Every time I try and let my Dane out she makes it as far as getting her nose to the threshold, stops, and looks at me like "No way dad. Can't make me."

I feel your pain... though not nearly as bad here my greyhounds are not liking this cold.
They do have really nice coats I put on them...

Your welcome... I highly recommend them.
Waterproof, the fleece doesn’t shock them when I pull them off and they are the only coats I’ve bought to-date that don’t twist or move when they run around.

Also, I believe they make both standard sizes for breeds or they can custom make a coat for you. If the measurements of your dog fit a standard size it saves money.

I forgot you've got greyhounds! How do their feet do with the cold? I know the rest of them certainly isn't built for it!

Our kids'll come in on 2 feet (diagonals!) if they take too long to do their deal when it's so cold out..

The female doesn't seem bothered but the male doesn't like when the snow gets crunchy... that's when he doesn't want to walk outside. He'll look like he's walking on sharp objects.

This huge difference between the temperature I think is no good for either us humans or animals. That it changes so fast that we don't get adjusted to them.
