what's your weather currently like?

Sunny skies for the foreseeable future.

Lucky you, man!

Places like Lawndale, Gardena, Redondo Beach...are these, like, neighborhood within LA? Or are they considered to be separate cities?

They’re separate cities..
I live in Wilmington, which is a district aka neighborhood within the city of Los Angeles.

Everyone’s heard of Wilmington Delaware, and those same people are the ones who built Wilmington California, which remains preserved to this day.

Cities within the LA county.

Expecting a Nor'Easter/Blizzard tomorrow night and most of Saturday.

Out here on the east end, we are expected to get 12-14" with wind gusts up to 65mph. (If the storm wobbles 50 miles west, we could see 2 feet.)

Gonna have me some fun driving around after I maul the snow with my blower....... :D:xyxthumbs::righton:

If you wake up 1 morning and don’t feel like shoveling snow, is Uber a better option?

Feels like -26? ughhhh.....

Yeah, it looked like the brunt of it was definitely ending up out there. Still waiting to see how it tracks to see what we'll get.

I don’t shovel. We have machines for that, Ric. Lol

Uber?? Like they could operate in a foot of snow.

Alright, I’ll give you a pass even though I was always led to believe real mean shovel everything including their own graves… Your machines not electric is it? Cuz if it is…lol.

Last few weeks have been your typical brutal PA winter. Pay back for a mild Nov/Dec. Many nights leaving work below zero. Including tonight. Truck is taking a beating. Been weeks without a good wash / detail. Just going to have to wait till we get a break in this crap.

My trusted friend during last week's storm. Traded my foam gun in for this.

-6 here.

Ric, you’d be surprised how heavy snow can get. Gas snowblower here. My driveway is 160’ long. No way I’m shoveling anything over 2” of snow.

We built our house with my Father in Law and when we finished, it was winter. So for the 4 months prior to having the cement driveway poured, I had his skid steer in my garage. Now that was fun, and fast, snow removal. I remember one storm dumped 12-15” and it took me 20 minutes to clear. That included diesel warmup time.

Any members from BOSTON? Good grief!! Over 2 feet of snow today/tonight. :wowwow:

FINALLY got snow! Guessing 5”?
Not a lot but the most we’ve gotten so far this year.
I’m one of those weirdos that actually likes snow. If I didn’t I’d be in Florida!

I just went out and cleared paths for the dogs in the back yard.

I have about 20 inches in the middle of the back yard, with drifts over 38" by the house/fence. I'm guessing the snowplow pile at the end of the driveway is about 4 feet.

It's still snowing, so those numbers will go up a bit.

Pics tomorrow when the sun comes up and the real clean up begins.....

Al Bundy built his whole house with just a hammer… So based on that, Paul should at least be out there with his shovel!lol.
